LYRICS:
Nothing to declare
Not in the bags under my eyes
I can see you standing there
But still there’s nothing to reply
The world’s my fin de claire
My Spanish castle in the sky
I can see it floating there
But still there’s nothing to define
If I’m worlds away
I’m Holding mountains in my hands
Starlight ain’t never gonna let me down
Until I stumble like a drunkard back to town
Then I end up where you are
Keeping the sanctuary warm
Don’t ask me who I am
Don’t ask me where I was
Nothing to declare
Not in the valise of my mind
All the documents are there
But still there’s something to decide?
The world’s my fin de claire
the waters beckon me to dive
I can tell the pearl’s in there
and still there’s nothing I can find
If you let me go
I’ll fall as far I can fall
Starlight ain’t never gonna bring me home
Until I wake up like a baby in the womb
Then I’ll wonder who you are
Keeping the conversation light
Don’t ask me how I know
Don’t ask me how I know
Don’t ask me how I know
Don’t ask me how I know

MGMT brings me to emotional places i hardly visit within myself and each one of the new songs of this album have delved into me so so deep I think I can confidently say they helped so much in the last few months. Maybe I’m corny but all their lyrics make me feel less alone, like someone out there understands and we are aligned somehow. That’s powerful and it warms my heart. Inga: Thank you for such an inspiring video! I am 80 years old and still the impact has been great - especially moving me to accept tha limitations of my time in life in a positive way. I realize that the video picks up the moments which you manage to live in a positive way - there must also be many more difficult moments. I wonder if you can see your situation as a gift from God! ... a mission which permits you to inspire so many people to face the difficult aspects of their lives in the most positive and fulfilling way the can. Your life is really a mission to help others in a way that very few can. My love and prayers for you to be able to continue being yourself in spite of all the difficult moments and situations and don't let your moments of weakness discourage you as they will only make your witness more authentic. Courage! You must be sure that you are helping so many, so much, just by being yourself

I was deeply moved by this music video. It's not just a visual treat; it's a profound statement on representation and the beauty of adversity. The way disability is portrayed here is nothing short of revolutionary - it's done so elegantly, showcasing the simplicity and beauty in the everyday actions performed differently. This video has set a new standard for what music videos can aspire to be - a canvas not just for artistic expression but for meaningful social commentary as well. Kudos to MGMT for pushing the boundaries and giving us something that's not just a song, but a powerful message. It's refreshing to see such depth and thoughtfulness in a world often dominated by more superficial content.

I like how it started off sounding like Elliot Smith song, I feel as though the rest of the band was sneaking in the middle of the song, which felt like if a stone that just came on were in audio. Then turning into the Shins and ending like a MGMT vibe. I love how you change your guys sound and don't sound like the same thing EVERY song. I truly appreciate how you evolve

@@111whitepony111 yeah, I can see why you'd say that, but Simon and Garfunkel would have a harmony, not doubled tracking. Like to Elliot Smith. Some songs I suggest would be Between The Bars, Miss Misery, and Needle In The Hay

Lyrics: Nothing to declare Not in the bags under my eyes I can see you standing there But still, there's nothing to reply The world's my fin de claire My Spanish castle in the sky I can see it floating there But still, there's nothing to define If I'm worlds away I'm holding mountains in my hands Starlight ain't never gonna let me down Until I stumble like a drunkard back to town Then I end up where you are Keeping the sanctuary warm Don't ask me who I am Don't ask me where I was Nothing to declare Not in the valise of my mind All the documents are there But still, there's something to decide The world's my fin de claire The waters beckon me to dive I can tell the pearl's in there And still, there's nothing I can find If you let me go I'll fall as far I can fall Starlight ain't never gonna bring me home Until I wake up like a baby in the womb Then I'll wonder who you are Keeping the conversation light Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know Don't ask me how I know
