Dude!! Absolutely great list overall as I've listened to them all multiple times except the Queenstryche one which I haven't heard. I'm happy to see Temple of Void and Destruction getting credit when credit is due. Check out one of our favourites of the year was a German Thrash album, but not one you expect 🤘🤔

I didn't enjoyed Temple of Void's latest album as much as I did the previous one, The World that Was, which is still my favorite from them, maybe it's the non Death-Doom parts that disturb me a little... but it's not a bad album. My fav of the year in that Death-Doom style is Druid Lord's Relics of the Dead. Happy new METAL year, Matt! 🤘🍺

Nice list! For me it's a toss up between Temple of Void and the Mother of Graves debut full-length both so good! The Destruction was one of my favorite pickups too, such a good band and they pressed on anyway without Mike and still delivered a good release for us.

nice picks! the new Queensryche really grew on me after a few listens, very strong release. I've also been listening a lot to Eric Wagner's (RIP) "In The Lonely Light Of Mourning". excellent doom, very well written songs. and the new Immolation has been getting plenty of spins.
