I'd say it's the most nuanced game series of it's time. It's noticed by mainstream audiences but more often, less readily received by mass audiences versus something like call of duty or halo. This series sits in a very unique and often misunderstood disposition. Much of that is because of how it's narrative qualities so frequently subvert user expectations and even poke fun at humanity as a whole.

This Caution, Act 2 Caution, and MGS 3 jungle caution are the best. But when it comes to alert, MGS 1 is still my favorite followed by MGS 2 tanker. As for sneaking themes, MGS 1 warhead storage

AT corps unmanned bipedal weapon, officially designated IRVING by the U.S military. They got tough armor plating and are highly agile to boot, you're best bet is to stay out of their sight.
