+L Anderson: Please check your comment settings, KZbin won't let me reply to you. 1) About the soldiers at 0:55: they didn't patch this, it's working as intended. You have to go very fast through that area to avoid them. In the video I was probably half a second away from getting detected. It took me a few attempts to figure out the best route, but it's totally possible to do this consistently. Still, if you can't do it on D-Walker, you can always use D-Horse instead, and dodge to the side while riding past the soldiers. 2) He only destroys the tunnel if you go near it. He should ignore the tunnel if you stay close to the water tower.

How do u judge which mission u can use walker?I mean it seems very good stealth unit... So why not use it at the very first mission. Or are you limiting to what buddy is available to the story?

+auric180 I decided to exclusively use D-Horse in Afghanistan and D-Walker in Africa. I mostly did it for so that I have some variety in how I approach the missions. Using the same buddy and same tricks every time becomes boring after a while. And actually, D-Horse is much better suited for the style I'm going for. You can hide on it in plain view of enemies, you can stop vehicles with it (either by placing it on the road or by telling it to poop), you can transport prisoners on it without anyone noticing. D-Walker can't do any of that. It's best suited for neutralizing a lot of enemies quickly with its tranq pistols or for fighting vehicles.

I feel the same way with D-Horse in Afghanistan and Walker Gear in CA, because in Afghanistan, most outposts are in the middle of narrow valleys where I could go on stealth mode with D-Horse to avoid them. But in CA, there are open fields everywhere, meaning that I don't have to keep crouching on D-Horse all the time.

A good way to stop the Man on Fire is to use that jeep you passed near the water tower to drive him off the edge of the cliff (near the far water tower)

+vman339 Lol, I don't know why people keep hyping this mission as something special. It's only moderately difficult (Where Do the Bees Sleep and Retake the Platform are much harder to complete with 0 suspicions) and there is basically one good route you can take. Is it because of the aesthetics? The atmosphere in this mission is surely the best one in the game, I'll give it that. Feels very intimidating the first time you play it.

Atmosphere, certainly. I'll say it, it's the only level that I've noticed people instinctively ghost rather than go full KO where most tend to. Otherwise, it's fairly SIMPLE!

+vman339 by this point in the game, running up to guys shooting you with machine guns and shotguns to punch them doesnt work anymore.. its pretty ridiculous how instinctive that is earlier in the game because its easier than pointing a gun.. sometimes i think these games should have total automatic aiming to make it realistic.. if you were snake youd be pulling off shots in split seconds but aiming the gun with a joystick takes a while and makes it feel like youre a novice rather than solid snake.. if you were just running through hitting the shoot button and snake was popping them in the head automatically it would be much closer to his skill level.. even tho that would probably be too easy how stupid is it to run up to a guy blasting you with machine gun fire and punching him.. and it works..

Is exactly this. But he said it in the first video. He waited to have unlocked everything in the game before doing those videos. Some missions are simply impossible to do with no traces during the first run. He is redoing all the missions trying different approaches

Another way to beat him is to lure him into standing next to the pool of water, then push him into it with any weapon that has a bit of knockback. Most shotguns or explosives should do the trick.

+Ru Mck Complete 2-3 missions in a row with Perfect Stealth, No Kills bonus. Try to use CQC, hold-ups and tranquilizers as little as possible. I think one or two takedowns is allowed, but if you do more the game give you a different emblem (Puma, Bear or Octopus).

+prenatual "neutralizing" (cqc, hold-ups and tranq.) is ok, you can do it as much as you like and it doesn't affect the foxhound emblem, you just arent allowed to be seen or to kill anyone.

daRaxama That's not true, in my experience. While doing a lot of hold-ups on a mission (at least 10-20) without being seen I always got Puma emblem. I've only got Foxhound for completing missions with no detection and very little neutralizations.
