One of my favorite maneuvers. Tackle > Aim behind while prone > (potential for hold up) > Kick puts you to crouch > aim at others if needed.

Very late but if you sneak around or holdup a lot of guards. Guards in future missions will be more likely to fake being held up and will go for knives or alert others. So if you don't see the interrogation options trip them up and prone holdup them up(they don't resist that one or knock them out and hold them up when they're getting up.

Enemies resist to hold up because covert operations response is high. So if you do a lot of stealth eliminations while avoid hold up, the hold up resistance still increase. If the enemy's icon does not turn blue while holding up, they are getting ready to counter.

When a heavy infantry was about to lay his hands down, I ordered DD to attack so when he attacked me DD killed him

There is a reason Heavy Infantry don't obey, they have helmets. Remove those and they get scared. Now however random soldiers do it so you gotta be careful. Personally I just equip DD with a Battle Dress suit and have him rip apart the Heavy Infantry. Shortly after while they bleed out I check their stats, see if they're worth a fulton extraction. Sneaking Knife or Stun doesn't do anything against Heavy Infantry unless you remove their helmets but Battle Dress armors DD from certain area gunshots and even those bastards. I remember him taking on a 4 man outpost single-handedly with that Battle Dress.

If you knock heavy infantry down with a prone CQC move, they get held up on the ground. You have to crawl up behind them and hit the CQC button, snake does an arm sweep and knocks em over

Bandanna. Mission 32, finish it, play a few more missions, go to the chopper. You will get "extract AI Pod" Side Op. Then wait a few more missions, you'll get a call from Miller about the pod. From then, upgrade your R&D and Medical teams (to 31). Go to Grade 4 in uniforms, and scroll down until you find it.

Actually I don't understand why I need this. Isn't it better to do ordinary knife hold ups? You can move with you targets, you can quietly stun them, you can interrogate them, you can kill them. Also gun hold ups don't work with armored enemies. And knife hold ups have a 100% chance to work. And they are easier to do. So do you have any reason using gun hold ups?

Fernando Langalú it depends on the damage stat of your gun and penetration of your gun as well as range the shot was taken from. Stuff like a fuck off 7.62 assault rifle will have more chance of killing instantly even for a leg shot than a 9mm pistol and point blank shots from a sniper with effective range of 1km are almost guaranteed to kill. If you're talking about them dying when you extract if you go into staff management, support unit and press triangle you can see a readout of "unit function" and it will have a grade for "air medical" which is how wounded soldiers are percentaged on odds of survival. Swapping a few good med team into support unit will raise this grade and the odds of wounded extracts surviving.

Bingus Dingus Nope I don't think so, I know it does count towards Venom's "Horn" growing longer, which will eventually turn you into a demon. I mainly just kill the guards I don't need to fulton if I'm infiltrating a base or outpost incase the little shit wakes up and puts everyone on alert, been doing this through my 75+ hours of gameplay and so far no signs of the shrapnel on his head growing longer. So unless you mainly kill and rarely fulton, I recommend killing who you don't need when infiltrating outside of main missions.

Here's a pro-tip. If you knock a guard out, stomp their chest to wake them up, and knock them out again, repeatedly, eventually they begin squirming around due to the sheer damage you inflict to their bodies. You can make their final moments hell.

President Clint in all honesty, playing with minimal hud and no reflex is a more entertaining / challenging / immersive way of playing. the first time i had reflex mode activate i was like god damn that's a lot of slack for a game with such realistic stealth. if you really miss it you can always use the drug that induces reflex mode.
