I wish he was like the tyrant or nemesis type enemy. Imagine walking at night in Afghanistan then you see a bright light.

There's mods to make the Skulls spawn in free roam, imagine random encounters with Volgin. That would make MGSV even more of a horror game

Volgin (MoF) was by far the most unique fight in the series history, precisely because the game offered so many different approaches, and yet death is all but guaranteed anyway. The tension that this song builds as you fight for your life is more "Edge of your seat" than anything Hollywood ever put out

Was he alive or was it just Mantis piloting him?
@vicenteveragarasapiain2 жыл бұрын
I don’t know, but i garant you that he was a Monster
@Cryax22 жыл бұрын
Both. Mantis got him out of his coma and turned him into the man on fire. The only time he wasn't under Mantis' control was at the end scene before he collapsed and finally died, realizing Venom wasn't the og Big Boss/Naked Snake.
@moonjumper61972 жыл бұрын
He was the one piloting mantis, and mantis acted as life support to keep him alive and allowing him to do all the supernatural stuff, but when psycho mantis met skull face then skull face got control of volgin because of psychic parasiting or whatever, it's explained in the Extraordinary tapes
@TheResilient56892 жыл бұрын
As Crane said above, it was probably both.
@vorpalweapon48146 ай бұрын
Its explained in the informants report, he had extremely severe neurological trauma which meant he was barely alive but he still felt hatred for Snake. Mantis used the "energy" from his hatred and desire for revenge to give him control of his body back. Though it's safe to say he wasn't really all there in the head despite that.
