I have the same mgw in my 18. I originally had the black mgw ball recently switched to their weighted knob. I highly recommend getting the weighted knob its way better. And also the trans bushing insert to stiffen the trans up some.

Thx buddy. I can’t wait to put this on my 2018 GT. I got locked out at 3rd gear more than a couple times and the stock shifter is garbage. Ford should stay with Tremac and never do the MT-82 again

I will put a MGW on every manual car I get, and I would look into getting a mantic clutch with it because most of the time lockout is caused by the stock clutch

How much more effort does it take to put into gear than the stock shifter? I’m not a huge fan of feeling like I have to jam it into each gear every single time like the hurst shifters on the S197

Sorry I just saw your comment and it’s just a tad bit more effort but nothing crazy, I had a Barton shifter on my 2013 mustang at it felt like I had to jam it in gear. I daily drove my mustang with the Mgw shifter and it was amazing

No worries man! Not in a rush over here! I can’t decide if I wanna build my MT82 and get an MGW now or just wait and save and get that whole big T56 kit from Lethal Performance and then get the MGW lol decisions decisions

@@danielreed7872 honestly if you’re trying to make some pretty decent horsepower past 700 wheel I would just save up for a t56
