What an amazing episode of Most Haunted Extra! Karl and Stuart's banter is as great as ever! They could easily have spent a week or more exploring this complex , labyrinth of cells and corridor's. Karl and Stuart's humour together with exploring such a historical piece of architecture make for essential viewing! Keep them coming guys! HMP Dorchester has to be one of the best HM prison episodes ever! Don't stop doing what you do !!! *Think the "whole" crew should return for a possible Halloween or Christmas special?

Hi MH...Stu and Karl!👋🤗🐈 46:33 Notice the paint chip falling and hitting floor precisely as footsteps heard passing. That you, Karl, remarked about temperature drop and activity began with door noise (presumably adjacent of you), followed with footsteps....BRILLIANT!!! If not enough, the door closing! Outstanding! And this is occurring without light source! This vid alone surpassed any expectations. Absolutely the BEST! Will part 2 come even close in entertainment value?? Cyber huggggggs 🤗🤗🐈
@bearfog072 жыл бұрын
HI, guys, of course! The chapel would be the place to find a piano! Poor Karl, having to put up with Stu's obsession with 'getting bummed' in prison! Lol. I do hope there are more than 3 showers for this floor, or there would be a LOT of waiting time. The cells were horribly tiny and yes, Stu, where are those hard, metal bunks we expected? At 44:53, that was not a door slamming Karl, as you said it was still open, so something unseen hit the door. Onward to watch Part II, I'm on the edge of my seat! Thanks guys, wonderfully scary stuff as usual! xxx

I was so excited to see this. I worked at Dorchester prison in the last few years it was a working prison. It was a very creepy place to be. I always felt something /someone was watching even when I was alone in a room. The entrance to the Healthcare dept where I worked was immediately to the right of the old gallows and it was extremely uncomfortable place to be. And if I may add for clarification. The "Hospital wing" was not a Hospital. It was the Healthcare wing. There were observation cells for people who needed to be kept a close eye on medically speaking. Dorchester prison was the only prison in Dorset to have that facility. If they needed to be in Hospital they would be sent to the Dorset County Hospital.

We went on a tour today saw the updated medical wing 4 million spent to update it really does look quite decent compared to rest of the prison then heard they closed the prison same year after all the work was done didn’t make sense all that money then wasted, just guess they didn’t have the funding for working on the whole prison including cells big shame.

I love Most Haunted, the fact that this show has been going for about 21 years clearly shows that these people know how to stay in business. I don't know who got the idea that this program was for entertainment purposes only considering they have been in business for a long long time and what I heard from a KZbin short is that they will be announcing more youtube/extras for Oct 2022 coming. I can't wait to see them again, this is the show I grew up with and in my opinion they have done spectacular even after they found out that Derek Acorah was a fraud. I like all the series of Most Haunted and I am very glad I had the opportunity of watching this program. Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie. Thank you two so very much for such an awesome show.

Oh my god, Dorchester prison. Very old prison, not been closed for that long. Meaning like other old prisons, Still going in 2000s … I was Weymouth girl, neighbouring town. A lot of my mates went in there, back in the 90s. They hated it on the old wings. I visited loads 🥺 😳 It is very haunted. I can tell you, a lot went bump in the night. N not just the ghosts. Some bad bad shit, went down in there. Yeah WoW!! Wonder if anything I know comes up. Will be very interesting. Enjoy all ♥️🥰

The area with the red floor was the old healthcare suite. It was mainly used for administering medication and had a few cells for suicidal prisoners on suicide watch. In the summer of 2013 we moved to the new healthcare suite which had been built in the grounds. I worked in both suites, until the final 'walk out' in December 2013.

If you look over Karl’s shoulder, when he points the camera at himself, before the door slams, what does that look like in the bottom of the window? It’s probably a trick of the light but it looks to me like a prison guard with his hands in his pockets, pale shirt, dark trousers? Check the footage from 47:10 onwards? The Cold Weather & Piano thing: Cold weather is known to cause piano strings to contract. This means they grow slightly shorter. Since they're wound so tightly, this can place an incredible amount of excess pressure on the strings and keys. At the same time, cool temperatures make the wood in pianos and their soundboards warp and contract.

🌹John D Rockfeller was once the richest man in the world. The first billionaire in the world. By age 25, he controlled one of the largest oil refineries in the US. By age 31, he had become the world’s largest oil refiner. By age 38, he commanded 90% of the oil refined in the U.S. By 50, he was the richest man in the country. As a young man, every decision, attitude, and relationship was tailored to create his personal power and wealth. 🌹But at the age of 53, he became ill. His entire body became racked with pain and he lost all of his hair. In complete agony, the world’s only billionaire could buy anything he wanted, but he could only digest soup and crackers. An associate wrote, He could not sleep, would not smile and nothing in life meant anything to him. His personal, highly skilled physicians predicted he would die within a year. That year passed agonizingly slowly. 🌹As he approached death he awoke one morning with the vague realisation of not being able to take any of his wealth with him into the next world. The man who could control the business world suddenly realized he was not in control of his own life. He was left with a choice. 🌹He called his attorneys, accountants, and managers and announced that he wanted to channel his Assets to Hospitals, Research, and Charity work. John D. Rockefeller established his Foundation. This new direction eventually led to the discovery of penicillin, cures for malaria, tuberculosis and diphtheria. 🌹But perhaps the most amazing part of Rockefeller’s story is that the moment he began to give back a portion of all that he had earned, his body’s chemistry was altered so significantly that he got better. It looked as if he would die at 53 but he lived to be 98. Rockefeller learned gratitude and gave back the vast majority of his wealth. Doing so made him whole. It is one thing to be healed. It is another to be made whole. 🌹Before his death, he wrote this in his dairy, “The Supreme Energy taught me, that everything belongs to him, and I am only a channel to comply his wishes. My life has been one long, happy holiday; Full of work and full of play I dropped the worry on the way and God was good to me every day.” A nice message for all of us!🙏🔥

All Victorian jails are haunted, but you wouldn’t know when you’re doing a sentence, because jails are always noisy… I was in Bedford HMP in 2000. I was on C wing, and the cell next to the office is a 3 man cell.. It’s still got the trap door there for when they did the hangings….. But because I see, feel, sense and hear them, and an Empath.. Tbh that’s the worst, being an Empath because you feel all energies off people and entities. Feels weird standing on the trap door.. I’m not sure how many men/women have been hanged there. I believe they stopped hanging after the last man hanged in that cell! He was a little backwards for his age, but he was meant to be a nice, friendly man… They hanged an innocent man… Can you imagine how he felt. Going to be hanged for something he never did… Apart from that, people commit suicide and people are murdered or die through violence.. All jails will definitely have just negative energy, and that builds up over a 100 years, basically tells you what energies over time, create entities.. That negative energy has no where to go. You should definitely get evidence in this old jail ✌🏼

A piano on the landing could be for enforced Sunday services. As the purpose of old prisons was to reform prisoners through reflection on the Almighty, contemplating the crime, solitude and hard work. Just a thought. Look at the weird designs of prisons in early America where they enforced silence among prisoners so they could contemplate their crime and change and they had compulsory religious services, whether it was your religion or not. The confusing layout Stu is probably by design. If an escaped inmate got free, a maze serves the guards better than a clean layout, in re apprehending the inmate.
