If one lasts 4,5h and the other 2.5h on the same setting.... they are not running at the same brightness. @5:00 They use the same battery and the same LED chip. So any changes in runtime can only come from power consumption. I guess that the slim MH12 gets thermally throttled and THEN lasts 4.5h. While the MH25 might keep up the power due to better heat dissipation.

If you have the pocket clip installed on the MH12 it doesnt roll at all as well as it can be clipped to a ball cap as a head lamp. The MH12 also has almost double the run time in high (1200lm) which makes it hard to justify the MH25s size being the only real advantage I see to the MH25 is heat displacment and beam throw + higher candella. I can see the appeal for law enforcment but personally it not brighter by eneough of a margin to sacrifice that much run time and the MH12s more compact size. MH25 would be a great bedside flashlight to keep plugged in but is too large for me to even consider as an EDC light I also just find the MH12 verry impressive for the performance you get in that for factor.

I’m not a big fan of the fairly strong green tint on the beam, especially at lower levels! 👍🏼🤷🏼♂️

My thoughts exactly!! I would love this light, but apparently Nitecore doesn’t use the same high-quality LEDs such as Olight or others…..disappoint unfortunately.

That is a good question. I got the MH12 Pro and the Fenix PD40R V3, the MH25 Pro is next. Let us know what you think when you get yours.

I have Both and Love Both. The MH25 Pro is Super Bright with a Little Longer Throw. Both get really Hot on Turbo, but with the Beam Profile and Light Color, you really don't Need Turbo very often. Love Em Both 👍

If you want a light to primarily blind or disorient an attacker with an instant on strobe mode, would you go with the MH12 Pro, MH25 Pro, or something else?

can you please make a video comparing the p23i and mh12 pro. the specs seem very similar. i have the p23i i bought earlier in the year before the mh12 pro came out.

@@carlostovar8585 I'm pretty happy with it. tail standing is tippy though. the flush mode button isn't much of an issue but it's a little awkward with the off-center main button you have to hold the flashlight with the button away from you be any direction. I've got the EDC35 coming soon. don't think I'd like the wide button on the MH 12 or 25 pro

The website says that 3300 lumens turbo mode on the MH25 Pro has a runtime of 30 mins, is that correct or is it actually 30 seconds? Anyone know?
@jackmclane182611 ай бұрын
The both get very hot quickly at turbo mode. It can not be sustained for a long time without toasting itself. Turbo mode is just for a short time, before it reduces power.
@NitecoreStore11 ай бұрын
That is right, both last around 30 seconds to 1 min in turbo before stepping down!
