Sorry for answering lately (I didn't notice the comment), the hitbox here is smaller than you can see. You don't need to GP the tremors, regular guard is enough. Also GPing takes slightly more time than a regular guard so it helps positioning better

3ds would definitely be my choice. You can have bad framerates/input delays if you don't have high end PC specs. I personally find the controls much better on 3ds but people often complain about that "small screen" and stuff so if you care a lot about graphics, use Citra, this is the only good point about that
