He does a speed feat and doesn't get his attack off but immidiate hit soon after, could have used more reading tells before that IMO. I think if there is any possibility that Bakugo survives, it would relate to either Eri's power or the second One For All user, as it was (I think) foreshadowed that Bakugo might be related to the second One For All user, and we didn't yet see his power.

SPOILERS I feel like Bakugo while probably not on par with Izuku in raw strength, would have the means to top him in a fight. Now I know people are saying "oh but danger sense! Gear shift!!" Yes I get it, I do. But the way his quirk awakening works, if he was at full stamina he'd be stronger and faster. If he had a clear head unlike when fighting the two big bads, when he was out of it versus Shiggy and actually tweaking versus AFO. If he had a clear head like usual and went into the fight with Deku 1v1 until neither could fight back, I honestly feel like it could go either way. Fights in MHA are a lot more than just who's stronger than who here, it's about overcoming the weaknesses of your quirk to surpass your opponent, exploiting their weakness to your advantage and outsmarting them, something the two boys cant really do to each other when they know everything about one another. That being said, Bakugo speed blitzed Shigaraki who has prime All Might levels of speed, while on low stamina while mostly out of it too. That would put him around the same level as Izuku without gear shift speed wise. Now we've seen how Bakugo can use multiple ways to exploit his quirk and increase his speed, if his speed feats in the movies are of any relevance (they are cannon) he should be able to at least keep up with gear shift; second gear relatively easily. So we know he has the speed. Of course Izuku has the strength thanks to One For All, but he's always had the strength, and honestly that never really did much for him in his fights with Bakugo unless we go back to S1 when he exploited his anger problems. From what we've seen, when talking about battle, Bakugo is smarter than Izuku. Izuku uses his other smarts to make up for that fact, Bakugo can do the same. It's no surprise that Bakugo is a smarter fighter, and I do think that he could possibly win against Izuku in a fight, now full power he slams All For One, its a bad matchup for him, forcing him to rewind while blitzing him. Even at his best there was nothing he could have done to Bakugo ngl
