Because saying “that’s not a good reason to commit suicide” just seems wrong, like if they were about to commit suicide because of it, it must have hurt them a lot and to hear someone say “well that’s not a good reason” I know some people say that to try to stop them but from personal experience I can say that it just makes them feel worse. I know this is fictional and it’s not real but if people who are suffering with maybe the same thing and to just read that it’s not a good reason would hurt at least a little or some people might think it’s okay to say that because of it. I hope I didn’t come off as rude, I’m just trying to help you understand so it doesn’t happen again :D (Also I’m pretty sure that that’s what it was talking about. This will be really embarrassing if it wasn’t)
