For the nuke build, if you lack arcane energize, you can use equilibrium (ik its lame but fuck arc energize), put on primed/archon flow and get your strength close to 200 through archon shards and transient fortitude to also avoid needing streamline, having a bit lower duration isn't too bad, just means you gotta cast roar a bit more often. Use precision intensify (90% strength for just roar) since strength doesn't affect the reap and sow combo because they work off % damage, but roar will increment the AOE damage, potentially requiring less enemy density. Survival will be achieved through shield gating with brief respite and rolling guard to cleanse DOT effects. And I also like a bit more range in the exilus. For the other arcane besides augmented, you could go with molt efficiency to regain some of the lost duration and make casting roar less annoying, or maybe molt vigor along with casting inside a zenurik wellspring to add even more strength to roar. I recommend adding a % energy filled on spawn yellow archon shard, because coming back to life from your shadow also counts and helps you get the ball rolling again. This frame requires you be constantly casting to survive through shield gating, but it needs high enemy density for his nuke effect to kill at all and in turn, generate him enough orbs to keep his energy up, so keep that in mind when you choose to take him into a mission. Also know that in situations where a 2-1 combo doesn't kill the enemies, killing one with your weapon will trigger an explosion as well. Toxin will kill you before you realise and roll guard out of it, just like other frames such as Gauss or Protea, steer clear of infested or it's gonna be a frustrating time.

You will struggle a lot more to trigger these chain reactions if you don't use roar because without it, the 2-1 combo only deals 25% of their health to the enemies, so you need more of them to be grouped up. Sure, more strength will increase the damage vulnerability they receive from the 1 regardless, but not to the same effect that road does, plus it also buffs your guns and teammates. With equilibrium, if you're killing enough enemies and use your combo when they are close enough to trigger the chain reaction, you're gonna be good for energy, you don't need nourish.

Sevagoths survability comes from using both forms, not focusing one. Shadow gives I-frames every time you spawn in as him. So if you ever feel pressured or are low as sev, switch then pull In everyone, cast death harvest and get 1 or 2 hits in before switching back and kill eximus with Sevagoth. With energy regen tools you can cast sow and reap at any point to keep the death well up. Preparation is a must on shadow

Consume is the worst charge in that game. So hard to actually hit with and unstoppable, throwing you off the map or jamming you inside geometry half the time.

If you don't have energize. I've found that the equilibrium + Synth Deconstruct combo works just as well. Also Shadow's Dark harvest inflicts sow. You can take advantage of this to save on ability casts. There's nothing wrong with hopping into shadow for a few seconds to use that one ability then hopping back out. Shadow can also clump enemies together for Sevagoth to kill with reap so you can instantly fill your death well to keep the ball rolling.

@@MHBlacky_ENG Yep! It's actually better to apply sow this way because it's much easier to build shadow for high range and high strength. And you're also applying the critical buff from shadow haze at the same time. It really cuts down on your energy consumption. Just slap perparation on shadow and it doesn't matter how much you tank shadow's efficiency. You can just hop in and out of shadow for an instant energy refresh.

an alternative way to build sevagoth is just using his first ability to boost damage and replace 2nd ability with road, go max str and duration, and you have a warframe that boost damage to absolute and your teammate will apreaciate that.

I use your Roar build with Brief Respite, but I use Equilibrium for energy, and Piercing Roar (3 Augments I know but it works) for 3 reasons: 1) Costs enough energy to max out Overshields when using Cat Shields, 2) It makes Roar recastable, and 3) the knockdown/Puncture proc kneecap enemies' ability to attack you, also worth mentioning that Gloom uninentionally buffs Pericing Roar's knockdown by slwoing the animation and trapping enemies in the fall.

Correction Arcon shards works on Shadow too. Arcane Reaper and Grace are better on Shadow. because reaper gives health for each enemy slain and grace activates when geting damage. You get more meter from slain enemies ether from ability 1, 2 and 3. not just 2.

as a sevagoth main before Dante, and more importantly before any of the neato buffs, I used to play him as a weapons platform using reap to shield gate, and capitalize on the crit with incarnon weapons, and wrathful advance for positioning, invuln, and using shadow occasionally for revives and activating devices. Used to run netracells with it often at top damage. Then Dante spoiled me as a caster frame.... But, after health and status re-work I'm using him a lot more again as he kills MUCH faster than Dante, but less chill to survive. I like that I have a use for both now.

I'm sorry, but this guide is a bit misinformed: Archon shards work on the shadow. My yellow Tau fills half my energy. My Purple Taus gain energy from health pickups without equilibrium equipped. My green Tau adds to the corrosive stacks when my Shadow attacks. The Blue I had on it increased the max energy and my Red Tau right now balances out the cost of putting overextended from 40% to 55% and I have no strength mods on the shadow. Sevagoth and Sevagoth's Shadow don't really have a survivability problem if you don't insist on health tanking... Well you can definitely health tank with Sevagoth using Parasitic Armor (either replacing his 4 for Reap/Sow builds or his 2 for weapon platform builds netting at least 3300 armor with 318% power strength or more depending on focus school) and Arcane Blessing for 1600 base health. Gloom makes it not difficult to sustain yourself that way, especially considering the reap shadows hitting something is a form of damage that can lifesteal for you if you are reloading your gun or just playing a Reap/Sow Build. But shield gating is also an easy choice for Sevagoth, especially since the brief respite aura effects the Shadow as well. Sevagoth requires 2 augur mods (or 1 on your pistol and 1 on your frame), but since the shadow has the second lowest shield, the aura covers that, so essentially, you don't need to add anything to Shadow if Sevagoth is shield gating. A compainion health orb can easily maintain your energy, so maintaining energy isn't that hard for shield gating purposes. Or for Reap/Sow builds, just pick up what is dropped by the large amount of enemies drops. You kill a lot of enemies, one of them needs to drop a health orb. The crit buff isn't reliant on the Shadow's power strength, but Sevagoth's. This wasn't said either way, but its an important point to make since that means you can tank the power strength on the shadow. It only affects the damage vulnerability on the frame, which sounds bad, but if you add in QoL stuff instead, or focus on the range of you 1 instead, then that's viable. Personally I advocate for a sprint speed mod because the shadow is a bit slow for my taste for a melee frame, but the rest is up to you. And a personal note from myself is: Consider Silence as a subsume. Its solves a lot of problems, including toxic ancients and status effects from ancients. Silence deals with Eximus bursts until the overguard is stripped when Gloom stops them from doing anything.

I had the same idea about Shade but it was just too finicky. Instead I went with Diriga so that my Archon Stretch would give me a bit of energy regen, with the Tenet Glaxion for energy orb drops. This gives more than enough energy, you could probably drop Arcane Energize even if you're careful about this, but I run it just to be topped off at all times. Then I run 5 red tauforged archon shards for the +60% ability strength. You need to get something like 250% strength to 1 shot with Roar, so the +60% is a huge help.

Ive been a sevagoth main since he came into the game. For Survivability Its weird when i hear people say it's hard to stay alive when i find it almost impossible to die, if you know how to switch between him and the shadow ull never go down even at lvl cap and since his prime came out everytime you go into the shadow form its invulnerable for like 5 seconds and if you use rolling gaurd thats another 4 seconds during that time the shadow can kill everything around or just run to safety b4 switching back to sevagoth, also you can mod your sentinel with radiation to confuse enemies or cold to slow them even more, enemies literally cant move with cold status and gloom plus using duplex bond thats more sentinel clones to spread status and draw enemies attention, sometimes i dont even take damage at all. Also u can use the sacrifice mod so your sentinel can revive sevagoth if you enter his passive. For energy i never have energy issues, glooms drain efficiency is based on duration, b4 archon shards i was using equilibrium and my sentinel/pet has on synth deconstruct so health orbs are always around but now i use 1 purple shard for health to energy conversion, 2 green for armor strip and 2 red for strength, if u dont need the green shards just put on strength shards, strength boost all his abilities. If you have arcane energize on the shadow the effect of it will also affect sevagoth. The nuking is really simple. Sevagoth could always nuke since the beginning it only got better since the augments and being able to recast sow anytime. viral increases damage to enemies health so they can be instantly killed with reap and sow doesn't matter if they have armor or not, roar boost abilities so its a really good option to use also, doesn't need any armor strip abilities. The shadow claws are strong enough to one shot enemies on steel path any lvl, any faction without any buffs or defense strip... And for ppl complaining about forma... ITS 2 FRAMES IN ONE WITH CLAWS OFCOURSE HE NEEDS FORMA!.. ive seen other frame builds like baruuk, mesa, titania with alota forma... And also, archon shards do affect the shadow

Energy nexus allows you to regain energy while gloom is active and no enemies are in the zone. Also, the emergence disapate arcane for the operator will help refill your energy if you're close to running out. You can hit the same enemies multiple times as long as you hop in and out of your warframe before hitting them again for energy. Use your shadows pull to group enemies and then go into operator to create energy orbs from grouped enemies.

I main ma boi Sevagoth since his release and yes, survivability is the main issue with him. Personally i run a high strength build (388% when all stacked up) for both Sevagoth and Shadow, with a bit of range and duration, meaning i have no survivability mods. But my Diriga with Guardian allow me to survive pretty well: thank to his classic Manifold Bond+Arc Coil, with Duplex Bond on top of that, everything is primed when dying and Guardian is up almost all the time. And when it's not, Gloom and nuking everything is more than enough to temporize before it's back. And tbh, everything is dying so fast that i'm rarely in trouble anyway. And the cherry on top, thank again to Diriga priming enemies with viral (and more), i don't need to subsume anything! So i can still use the Shadow, mainly to assassinate high priority targets like Acolytes or Necramechs ^^ Energy economy is another issue i had struggles with, especially since i have negative efficiency (45%). But the combinaison of Equilibrium, Primed Flow and Arcane Steadfast (better than Energize in the long run), in addition of Diriga with Duplex Bond (Verglas Prime make it really deadly, thus lot of energy orbs) and Synth Deconstruct (lot of health orbs) solved this problem. I can spam like crazy all day without any problem :D I could go on all day because I love this warframe so much xD However, to be noted that Sevagoth still have some critical bugs: several companion mods and precepts don't work on the Shadow (notably Guardian), Reap augment don't give crit chances increases to aoe damages, and Shadow's armor values are not the ones displayed in game. The bug with Guardian annoys me a lot because i could survive way easier with Shadow if it was working properly. Me and others have reported about it on the forum, but no respond from DE for now :S

Actually, fun fact: Gloom doesn't count as a channeled ability unless there are enemies actively in the aoe. Zenuriks energy regeneration does indeed work when the circle is empty, however this is usually negligible because of the range mods applied.

One thing that could work instead of Arcane Energize is dropping two Blue Shards and replacing them with Yellow Shards with Energy Orbs to double the effectiveness of orbs, or run it with a Glaxion with the Augment although that would be 100 less Max Energy, or 25 if you use three Tau instead of normal Blues. Kinda sucks that Shards on Main Sev don't translate to Shadow Sev, would be funny to see Shadow with 5 Melee Purples and 400 Energy.

Collective Curse + Breach Surge. An unmodded Lato deals 42 damage on headshot…and then the curse+surge sparks turns that into an infinite damage loop that instantly kills on Steel Path.

using quickthinking on the Shadow is a damn great idea! But i would use it in a different playstyle and combination. You take Preparation and you get full energy every time you swap to your shadow, this should also work when you get downed (hopefully, ima test it later) to tank with quickthinking so you have the whole energy pool.

I don't know if this is a bug but when I went to use Sevagoth against the murmur boss I would switch to the Shadow to nuke the boss, but when he summoned the tide on his second phase I would use death's harvest and when I attacked a mob they all just fckn died at once. Basically, as it is rn, you can use Sow, switch to the shadow, use Death's Harvest, attack one enemie and watch the world burn.

Survivability is actually very easy if you have Arcane Blessing (which is very easy to get). Slap that on and between that and gloom slow your only danger is an eximus or acolyte. Also general tip for staying alive: rolling / being in the air reduces enemy accuracy by quite the amount. You could use zero survivability and last quite long as long as you keep moving, albeit a little inconsistently. I personally swap BR out for Umbral Vitality with Umbral Intensify, as well as sometimes swapping the augments around with other mods. Sev is a very versatile frame, gl with his prime! 😊

Health tanking just falls off very high levels, and Sevagoth is a specially bad case since he needs 2 mod slots to use the augments and make his nuking viable, making it even harder to get in the strength, range and energy he needs if you start forcing a health tanking build. Plus, he can't generate health orbs reliably enough to stack health from arcane blessing the way a Nekros or Voruna would, and you need some sort of survivability because you will run into DOT procs that will kill you if you can't cleanse or tank with armor. You could make a health tank build with his shadow, but I'd just rather play voruna with pull instead.

so, my build on sevagoth has amars anguish for more strength and armor, hunter adrenaline for more energy, carnis carpace for more hp and armor, and for the set bonus of status immune and less enemy accuracy upon heavy attack, arcane reaper for more armor and healing upon melee kills, and glaive prime. some auger mods are added as well. so each ability restores some shields, and in the event my shields do break, gloom and glaive prime are restoring my health and granting me status immune, making me harder to hit, and the damage i do take grants me energy, which goes right back into abilities, and thus grants shields. having my nautilus prime set up to heal and restore my shields, as well as having duplex bond to have it generate energy, means that i'm pretty much self sustaining, no subsume needed. in the event of low health, i can always just swap to the shadow, since even if i have no energy i can still switch and the shadow has it's own hp, thus buying me time to either kill the thing about to kill me or run off to safety to regenerate.

Seva Prime is absolutely ridiculous, I only use 2 blue archon shard for energy and 2 red archon shards for ability strength with a fairly standard build, yet he still nukes everything. Let’s not even mention that Epitaph is a lovely primer for him alongside picking off whatever’s left

you can actually regenerate energy with gloom active, energy regen doesn't apply while gloom drains, but it does as long as gloom doesn't drain. I run it on mesa, and energy nexus doesn't shut of until gloom actually slows at least 1 enemy

Another day I see streamline and I wanna recommend borels hatred. I use this hybrid mod on frames that like a mix of both that both want survival and efficiency. Like equinox amd protea, I think its a very underrated mod. That 20% in air dr is a nice perk too, but not the main reason I use it. I do like the thickness of primed redirection on some frames that don't need as much efficiency, like gyre. But it is the same polarity if you wanna mess around with it.

Arcane energized overrated when you have yellow tao shards for energy efficiency. I'm still surprised how often I use them freeing up an arcane slot for something like molt augment or arcane avenger.

For lower level stuff, If you're on a mod budget just try placing what you can for range and strength, maybe a little efficiency too as you likely don't have the best energy regen mods and items yet.

i'd honestly recommend running lith fissures and get as many prime parts as you can which you wanna sell on warframe market. then buy yourself corrupted and 60/60 mods. the corrupted mods mean they give like 200% boost in 1 thing and like -60% in another thing which you can remedy with other mods. the 60/60 mods are like 60% elemental damage and 60% status chance. there are a ton of videos out there explaining about mods and how to get them. if you need further information.

This build still isn't Sevagoth's final form. You can have 200+ range build and be able to 100% oneshot even single/isolated enemies at the start of the mission without even touching Molt Augmented👀

Honestly, I haven’t had much energy problems in high density missions with not using Arcane Energize with using a companion that has the ability to force health orbs to drop from enemies, them using the duplex(?) mod that makes clones of them every time you use 100 energy (that cause energy orbs to drop on things the clones kill), roar to boost all of their damage out put on top of mine. Gave them Nautilus Prime’s freeze ray modded with corrosive and freeze with shivering containment and that just makes everything freeze and some of them lose armor. (Can also use Nautilus for its grouping mod to make the freeze ray and Sevagoth’s explosions more effective since things are getting pulled into groups) Also gave Sevagoth Arcane Blessing so he can get into the 1k+ health without requiring mods so he doesn’t get one shotted by anything that doesn’t dish out massive damage in a single hit, gloom will be able to heal that damage with sow’s DOT and reap causing explosions from sow, everywhere. (Everything else I basically have the same build) Think the only things that have threatened me have been things that aren’t affected by abilities or status effects but that is when your weapons come into play for Sevagoth.

Still finding a huge issue with the build. While copying all the mods for each part of sevagoth shown here I'm still running into an issue with no energy uptime and squishy sevagoth and shadow gettting gunned down. I cant tell if Im doing anything wrong here and would like a pointer or two on the gameplay loop here.

true sevagoth survivability is trash however there is a little new arcane introduced in the jade shadows update called secondary fortfier that eneables you to take him in lvl cap without needing gloom just go with alot of strength,arcane energise,archon strech which will be triggerd by the diriga for more energy regen,ofc that means your gonna have to say goodbye to his shadow

The archon shards on sevagoth do work on the shadow. Dunno what are you talking about. I use 3 tau purples for the shadow claws (doesn't really need them but idc 😂) Also with all 3 umbra mods, the shadow is good enough. Also it has so much armor that you can replace primed flow with arcane battery.
