Was pretty excited to be able to solo him in the time I did and i wouldnt change anything about the run basically. I had Luna my GF mashing the function keys for combines to make it easier to focus on the fight (that 65% keyboard life) lol
Some insight: Monster inflated hp value 1.2 million or .03 def with standard hp so hes basically a giant tank and you only get 10 mins to slay these monsters.

That said, this run looked hella impressive and clean, and the fact you managed to solo it at all in the time limit is terrifying. There's a whole forbidden door that the main series can open if they added Frontier Monsters. Espinas is the flag bearer, if people like that then they'll bring in more.

I don't understand half of what just happened. Why do you have strange bar that seems to empower shots when you press the button on the correct time Why do you have brave run Why don't your shots deplete Why is the monster exploding every time Why do you only have 10 minutes for this thing? How the hell are you sopposed to melee that thing? Why are you loosing stamina when shooting and not when dodging? Why aren't you regaining stamina What the hell was that item or I guess ability you used. And overall. Why is frontier so weird

He's probably fighting the endgame version of the monsters. Basically evade+2 and guts is a default requirement, because they are the absolute craziest hunts

Well first, this is end end game musou boga and thats just how the challenge in the frontier, 10 minutes time limit and a shitton of hp, thats how every true slay musou in the game like blinking narga, howling zino etc. Lesser slay and regular slay and repel have much less hp, more time and even locked some of the monster moves. About losing stamina its probably a skill trait because one of the skill i know called combat supremacy drains your stamina while weapon drawn but boost your attack. Adrenaline+2 (heroic in gen5) is pretty much necessary in true slay musou because of the time limit and how tanky the monsters are. About meleeing, its actually possible especially with ds, ms and tonfa. The ability he use is called transcendence, the whole animation to activate is i frame so he use it to evade those attacks. Transcendence is like super move in frontier where you can use it a few times in a hunt, once you activate it, you need to hit the monster a lot and once the transcendence symbol changed, you can unleashed a supermove, for example if you use ice weapon, it freezes monster, if you use fire weapon it burns them, if you use raw weapon, it deals a shitton of damage and gives flash bomb effects, etc.

@@RetryOfHealGuy evade+2 is mandatory yes, its piss easy to fit in as well, but for true slay musou, guts is pointless because they have a shitton of hp and you want solid deter skill which nullify any guts but gives a massive damage boost.

I respect that. But the game is super fun. If you are able to try it out I recommend you give it a chance. You will put in 10s of hours before you even unlock extreme style most likely especially with how the community edition revival team is rebalancing the early ranks so even if you only played up until that point it is a complete mh games worth of content if not more to dig into.

You are goddamn right, i still giggled sometimes by how flashy the game is, especially when you fight white fata where you want to keep yourself under his belly, it feels like playing csgo but other players keep throwing flashbang at you, your screen become completely white.
