With how popular the anime is now, I can see another Baki crossover in Rise, only this time, you fight a MASSIVE and stronger Goss Harag. Why? It's pretty much the closest thing to the Hanma polar bear. Or Capcom can go the easy route and have us fight a Rajang instead.

@@Edagui97 That sumo arc is weird. I mean not bad? But not great, for me personally. It’s pretty clearly a sort of training/testing arc for all the rest of the cast. Musashi is kept in limbo maybe until some series finale stuff I bet. Like an actual final one on one test for a more mature Baki eventually becoming on par with his father. That makes the most sense to me because of both his bouts with the Hanmas not being real fights but gauges for each of their strengths and habits. Or maybe he comes back to help fight some new antagonist who’s a big threat to the whole martial arts world. I’m clinging to hope, lol.

Thank you very much, sad we didn't get everything from XX but this is actually insane. Going through G3 solo now and can't wait to get to G4 so I can start farming for some of these as layered sets. Love how some are badass gear, some incredibly pretty and in case of Fan Club just dripped out jackets and shirts. Also love all the Palico armors. DMC,Yugioh,Starfox and many more, really hope MH6 has a fraction of this many quality collabs

90% of the rewards have been moved to the DLC shop in rise. Really stupid, cause in the older games I think "wow that's really cool I wonder what hard quest he got that from" now it's just sadness that feel.

Honestly surprising how Rise didn't do a collab with AoT or Nier like they did before. The maneuvering gear would've worked well with wirebugs, not to mention the VA for Mikasa and 2B voicing Fiorayne

Its silly to expect this level of collabs. What generations did with collabs was unprecedented until it came out and the reason for that was because it was a celebratory game. Not saying i wouldnt be happy they went all out aswell in rise, but its highly unlikely.

@@samuraibeluga3749 However, this kind of crazy collabs have always existed even before Generations (in fact, quite a lot of these DLCs were carried over from MH4). It’s become a tradition at this point that MH games will get all sorts of crazy and funny DLCs from many manga/anime and Japanese media, but now that the series is going global and the shift in the target market, GenU is likely the last game ever to get such a variety of DLCs.

@@samuraibeluga3749 I don’t think it has to do with GenU being a celebratory title to have all these DLCs, which is why I mentioned MH4. Such mixed bags of DLCs are a staple of older MH games. ALTHOUGH, I have to say that the DLCs in GenU is definitely “unique” in the way that the English version was able to keep most of them, as they’re usually get cut from the localised version.

You can technically, but the quests are no joke, so you won't be able to get the stuff you want right away (unless you're a god at monster hunter). You'll need to rank up quite a bit. So, it takes some time, but yes you can get this stuff.

Seeing comments like “are these free?”, “are they timed events?”, “Is it over or can I still get them?” really shows how good we had it in older MH games where DLCs are free, plentiful and more accessible. It’s good to see that Rise is doing the Event Quest the traditional way, but also sad that they had to promote it like it’s never been done before when it has always been the way they do it in the past. Similar to how some modern games promote themselves for “not” having micro transactions. Older games also have lots of manga/anime DLCs as the games were mainly aimed at the Japanese audience back then. Though a lot of them were cut out in the localised version due to licensing issue (which makes it all the more surprising for me to see how GenU was able to keep so many Japanese DLCs intact). But now that the series is going for a unified global release starting with World and the shift in the target market to a worldwide audience, I feel like Capcom will never pick up the manga/anime and other Japanese media DLCs again because it might be considered “too silly” for non-Japanese players (or long time fans who are already used to it), western players might not care for it and likely the previously mentioned licensing issues. There’s still a chance we could see such DLCs in Rise as it’s making an attempt to please the Japanese audience, but I highly doubt it.
