MHGU Full Silverwind Set Alchemy LBG Vs. G4☆ [Hyper] Rajang

Most of us probably already know this is one of the more useful full set combos compared to most but figured I'd give it a go with Alchemy on Rajang. Fairly straightforward and simple set that only requires a pierce 6 000 to use with silverwind's lbg.
Yes I'm aware I didnt even shake the barrel once but its difficult to actually use it without getting hit and it typically wastes time if you're just changing areas. The final level of alchemy barrel for the cheer item is definitely one of the best to have and can be great in a team or solo if you want to charge up your arts quickly.

Maybe a dumb question but how does the affinity boost activate so shortly after Mai used the Frenzy Fever skill? For me it always takes forever and the violet gauge fills almost completely until that "affinity up" symbol appears. Am I doing something wrong? I should mention that I only have MHGen not MHGU. Also I never played any 4th generation MH games, so I don't really know much about frenzy virus mechanics.

Shaky Resolve it depends on the weapon on how many hits to convert the virus generally I believe

@@EXL72 Ah thx. So attacking the monster helps me overcome the virus? Doesn't sound very logical but I guess it's a nice mechanic. Do you know whether it's the hits or the damage dealt that matters? (Judging from your comment it sounds like it's the hits.) I tried the hunter art out on my first attempts at striker lance and honestly fared pretty pathetically, so either option may be possible haha.
