Accidentally opened up PPSSPP menu during this run when Bumping shortcut trying to multitask lol...
Could be faster with some nicer AI and less messups. This was part of my MHP3rd playthrough I did on Twitch using Gunlance only. Auto-Guard talisman carries well 😂

Yeah, i feel that also because i played the xx and i realized something's familiar Probably they just think that ita cool to keep the bug as a mechanic in the game It was accidental at first But because of that, gl life are much more easier now Like bob ross said ; we dont make mistakes, we make happy accident

There's no english version of MH3RDP it was never ported only got translated but not officially

Nice hunt! Just a quick tip for the new ones and who doesn't notice: 7:26 Both end the animations at the same time. This is a bad timing for you to take an aggressive action in most of the monsters, even more when you are close to them. Generally you want to start an action just after the monster and cancel your end animations to have some seconds to repositioning. Again, nice hunt!

That's because he's playing on pc using an emulator (called ppsspp if i remember correctly) that maintains shapes and all, but improve the grafics a lot

How do you block attacks so fast in the middle of a combo?

Its the talisman bruh, auto guard is broken and bugged in p3rd So when u used the gunlance whenever you shoot and or went to single reload animation(not the full reload), you'll block pretty much everything Until the animation ends And yes, by the time you pressed the button to shoot, it also immediately blocks everything Else than laser and unblockables of course

As the name suggest. I assume it'll guard for you after an attack or while stationary without needing to hold on the button for it. Pretty sure it won't activate during a attack though

@@nerokuryukami thats the thing though, In portable 3rd and with gunlance specifically its broken, and it cancels certain animations early and some recovery animations early blocking everything, its not like this in any other monster hunter game with auto guard.

@Mister Jaux the first charm u ever got is the auto-guard +10, the bherna chief should gave it to you as a reward for some early key quest

Pretty good run and nice coincidence to see you've also gone back to P3rd and posted a bit on my other account, it's basically the only MH game I still play along with 3U, tired of World and all the others, yet somehow Gen3 games never get old for me despite having ~13000 hours total in Gen 3 games, more than all other gens+Frontier combined! I know you are on PPSSPP and all, but thought I'd ask, do you know of any ways to stabilize recording the game from an actual PSP? I'm having issues and don't like PPSSPP very much because whenever it crashes for me (and it's relatively common for it to) my entire PC goes with it so want to try and get PSP recording instead:/
