any tips on controlling the spam leaping thrust ? specially during side awkward moments when monster is close to you but youre facing the other direction a bit. i always fuck up when it comes to that scenario and ending up doing a shield attack or cancel/counter-thrust hence losing a huge dps window. fml. do u press forward to sideward button simultaneously or just sideward to control where the leaping thrust poke will land? i play on pc btw. thx my friend

Not entirely sure what you mean, but if you meant changing the lunging thrust direction slightly you should use the analog to aim a bit, also after the 'lunge' (the jump before the thrust) you should let go of the R2 button and then press Circle+the direction you want
