Especially when so many of the armors are only just adequate unless you mix sets. Almost none of the layers are worth it except like 4 or if you mix it up and get creative. I had thought iceborne would make it so every armor set could be layered, like the old games.

I meeeaaaaan, the Splatoon haircuts for the Namielle sets are neat, but I was really hoping they'd also get the badass hood w/t glowing eye from the male set. That aside, Ishvalda B is my absolute favorite. I also have soft spots for the simpler sets like Kadachi and Kulu, I think both Brachydios sets are hilarious, and I love Savage Jho A for the Jho-Jo reference.

I find myself in agreement with you. Speaking of layered armor sets, I discovered, to my dismay (although I could have overlooked something as I tried this), that when changing armor sets at camp during either a quest or expedition mode, if a layered armor set is worn while changing into, say, a Beotodus or Viper Toni set, that layered armor set IS AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED. I'm not joking... And this is regardless of Low, High or Master Rank. I would be curious if anyone who's been playing for the first 24-72 hours has noticed this. Obviously a lot of players really love the new armor sets thus far and consider the previous layered armor sets to be an afterthought; but I have become very enamored with the High Rank Harvest/Autumn layered set. To each his/her own. :) My faves in this video thus far are the Brachy Alpha and the Namielle armors. My gut feeling is that my female hunter is gonna look smoking hot in either one of these. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on the prospect of creating custom layered armor based on the existing sets via Iceborne's closest equivalent to transmorgification used in MHG Ultimate.

A request, Im willing to bet, made by no one (if there were, i doubt there numbers would surpass the numbers of people begging for a transmog system). Also other players can not enter your room, but they said they will add the option to invite other players to your room in a future patch. I doubt there will be no outcry for a transmog system of they dont add one before this.

Clockwork: You'll need Monster Slogbones (Barioth) and play the Steam Slot Machine for Tickets, but it has good slots and Agitator. Also, with any sort of sleep weapon/ ammo it is the go-to sleep bomber (Bombardier +5 with the set bonus: 3 pieces). Combine it with the Artisan set (from MR Tailrider Safari in at least the Elder's Recess) and get Status Crit (2 Artisan) with either/or Peak Performance and Ammo Up.

I do believe its Arenas. Most Guild/workshop related armor and weapons use Arena Coins to craft so I'd start by looking there.

If I'm honest Monster Hunter is one of those games where most of the female armour designs annoy me. For some reason, they seem hell-bent to both show your hunters face and as much skin as possible without getting an R-Rating. Like, why is the main deal with all the ore armours that the female designs don't have their visors drawn down? If those armours are the baseline, the majority of female NPCs in that game should be running around with an eyepatch because they didn't protect themselves properly.

That's because most of people who play female characters in online game treat them like special snowflakes and don't like getting their face covered and instead prefer cute headwear and accesories so they have their pretty faces for the world to see. Unlike male characters that wearing fancy helmets is like how cool they are. This would had been great were not that the faces ingame doesn't look as pretty as character creation.
