@3:26 Had this same thing happen multiple times on a good rath hunt on PC the other day. 6 fucking traps between myself and one other random, but the DB and LS kept staggering us. What made it even better was that the DB and LS were adament on cutting the tail for that fight, which we did. I combat carved, because I always do with randoms in case some BS happens. Ofc they killed it on a cap quest because they kept staggering the trappers for MaH dEePs. At least I got my tail carve. Sucks for them. :)

Yeah I hate those random spawns which seems to happen quite often in Iceborne. Half of the time you're landed right next to your mark. In the case of B.Diablos that is a very bad spawn point. Even worse when it's the tempered version.

I'll never understand why people try to get "creative" with barrel bombs like in 1:45. It's easier to just place them near the part you wanna break, then have a GS, GL or HBG user blow them up instead of hoping the monster blows them up, especially since they do more damage to a sleeping monster.
