While you're progressing in the game things are naturally going to take longer because you can't meet the stagger thresholds nearly as often as someone with endgame gear can. It's also pretty hard to beat out a frostcraft sns in terms of damage if the player can abuse perfect rush, which helps with causing nonstop flinches. always remember that as long as you keep practicing and acquire better gear you can put out busted amounts of damage just like this person did

To add to this, it also takes considerable amount of skills to actually pull something like this. It requires you to pretty much fight one monster countless of time to get used to it movesets, my pb of raging brachy is 15 mins while not over gearing (no fatalis or alatreon or Velk Y). So essentially don'tbe ashame of your hunt time, have fun and enjoy the game at your own pace!

perfect rush finisher, if you press triangle at the end of the combo you latch onto the monster and deal massive damage. make sure to time it with the glow to get the bonus damage.

Frost craft is good for the constant stun or knowing exactly how to fight something. Really good for speed runners. If you’re just chilling and fighting monsters, having the occasional mistake, I think MT gets more value. Frost craft for when you’ve perfected your gameplay
