Haz, you know that your big slash after that special sheathing animation that consumes your spirit gauge bar… its meant to be used as a parry. You land it and you actually increase your spirit gauge by a level.

@@HazIsLazywhich is why it’s best for u to use it to counter instead of turning it into a part of the combo,since spirit helmbreaker is ur highest damaging attack when it’s at the red gauge,and using it at the yellow gauge drastically reduces ur damage. (Also don’t worry about being bad at this version of longsword.We’ve all been through this at some point.After all,longsword is easy to use but hard to master.) It's generally not recommended to farm or even upgrade armor in low rank since you'll most likely reach HR pretty fast & LR is pretty easy to go through with just the bare minimum equipment.... But hey, don't let that stop anyone from just taking it slow & having fun. For old vets like me with not much time in my hands, you bet your ass I'm gonna go through the entirety of Wilds LR quests with the most efficient clown set u could quickly cobble up.
