The memes aside, I'm surprised how strong the guard is. It's not so much that I've ever consciously thought sns' guard would be super weak even with guard 5, but rather I literally have never had a chance (or reason) to experience it.

It kinda already is like guard point isn't it? Cause in hunt, you pulled guard slash exclusively when you failed to back step. But if you actually pulled the back step, instead of guard on guard point you get to i-frames monster's attack and just like guard point you can punish monster with your strongest attack right after. But I don't really played CB so I don't know lol.

@@irfanhardanto3482 if guard is active during part of the attack, then it's a guard point. if not, then it isn't. idk SnS but I do know charge blade, and I also learned recently that gunlance has a guard point on loading slinger ammo into it.

The thing is that it used to have a quick recovery time for the shield to reactivate quickly. Its a shame that World doesn't let me guard slash barrel bombs safely anymore
