Honestly they didn’t need to add these little details, the game still would’ve been amazing without them But the fact that they DID go through the effort just to add these little details just makes the game so much more alive

Yeah take a look at other live service games like Anthem or similar, just npc's walking randomly around spouting the same two sentences in order to simulate activity in the hub areas.

Seeing all this really gives you the feeling like all the food you get before a hunting isn't just automatically spawned and that they were freshly made Such great extra detail

Love how even background characters have stories to tell! I mean, I rarely watch what these felynes are up to, so just watching them like this is really enjoyable
The attention to detail here is almost fractal. Apart from the fact these guys exist just because, even their animations have important little flourishes. The first cat doesn't reuse a "swipe with the measuring cup" animation; he levels off a full scoop of flour, but taps down a scoop of yeast to measure it out. Over cat takes a moment between taking out buns and putting in new ones to check the state of the fire. Ultimately they're just minute-long loops but there's so many little things that you'd need to watch them three or four times to notice.

Some quality cat baking content. I'm somehow giddy that animators and model designers were behind SUCH HUMBLE CAT BAKING

"weird cat things." Excuse me, they're palicos and they do their best.
how to make palico bread: -Add 2 mugs of flour to a bowl -Add 1 mug of yellow powder (yeast?) -Add 1 mug of water -Mix until the ingredients start to form a nebula and a new star is born -Continue mixing until the star matures into a dough ball -Carefully knead the dough ball and hand it off to another palico

then may i ask how much one mug is? is it the size of a pint? which is look like it is the size of a pint
@Thalanox4 жыл бұрын
@@john34261 As long as you've got the ratios, the absolute amounts don't really matter. @elsquisheeone - I don't think it's a full mug of yeast. I think it's just a small scoop. Looking at the way the feylyne tapped the mug rather than levelled it as it did with the flour, that's what makes the most sense to me. Also, the idea that you don't need that much yeast for dough to rise.

@@Thalanox alright fair enough and i don't really know how much there is in a mug though i roughly know how much a pint is: 350ml right? or there abouts
@Thalanox4 жыл бұрын
@@john34261 I don't know how much a pint is off the top of my head, but after a search on DuckDuck go for "a pint in ml", it converts to around 473ml, or a little under two cups. With bread, you have a lot of flexibility with the flour/water ratio, so I wouldn't sweat the details like this. Being able to bake it in a wood-fired stone oven like that would have a big effect on how the bread tastes.

@@Thalanox alright and i know if i want a bigger batch of bread i would need to increase the amount of mix of ingrediences as it is basics in math
