How do you have so much attack, especially without much put into attack boost? I’ve been trying to hit for these huge numbers and CANNOT for the life of me get into the 2000s.

This is assuming we crit and we're talking vs Fatalis because other monster have different hitzone value, so damage between monsters may varies. you can check the details here : robomeche.github.io/MHW-Database/ Are you using frostcraft (FC)? FC boost your damage depending on the bar If yes, is your TCS a powered one? TCS have 2 variant, power (264) and non-power (211). *(xxx) is motion value and you can check the details here : docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTEYb4wGpijtIpFVopiYl1V83m48d7g1AHmTwOBKJ5RXdlz1sfxCyEmnhbgHLWQsGiXnodyBsUlPzc3/pubhtml# To do power TCS the first hit of TCS need to hit a weakspot (45+ Hitzone value). For phase3 evasion mantle give 30% boost to raw for 20 seconds after a successful evade. Also GS have a "sweet spot" mechanic, if your hit is on the middle of the blade you get x1.03 multiplier bonus.

Velkhana armor skill. You get a stronger sheath attack. Don't remember the name but if you look for velkhana armor you can see it.

It’s called Frostcraft. Any 4 piece Velkhana set will activate it, although AT Velkhana is the best you can go with.
