Apparently diablos is an excellent monster to practice guard points on - using its rush attacks teaches you to practice timing and positioning

This is great, not only you managed to show one of the most important moves of the CB, but also how forgiving it can be. Sure you have to time some moves just tight like the roars but some moves you can GP a bit before and still block the attack. Great video thanks.

Doesn't even matter because A. Real high rank Monsters hit like a truck anyways, no matter what you wear and B. You're not supposed to get hit, that's the point of monster hunter. So your challenge becomes to actually focus on the core part of the game which doesn't make for a good challenge

Didn't bother watching past the 4 min mark. Those are not 'guard points' you are basically just timing the block. An example of a guard point is switching back from axe into that 360 spin which offers you an actual guard point.
