You know you could easily hunt Daora without using poison or Wind Resistance in the past games, right? Wind barrier didn't cover the head, only neck to middle of the tail, so headsnipping with GS/Lance/etc. was really easy and you avoided the knockback from the wind too! The only time the wind barrier was a problem was if you tried to go next to it's body to attack (which had terrible hitzones so wasn't even worth it).

@@tho_tho Sadly, although those are good strategies, Daora Isn't the type to be quiet In just one place. Anticipation was also a pain In the neck, since It could be jumping, flying, landing, etc. at random patterns. [Also, even with Windproof Hi, the black gust could still make you cover your eyes] But good thing there was a powerful (as In op af, refering to bs of the IG, leaving others weak af like the lance, gl and sa) and the perfect armor (Starknight set -.-) to deal with the so many difficulties of the game -_-''

It always made me sad that SAED spam is the way most players play CB now, 4U style is definitely still the best way to play CB imo even if its not the most "optimal".

ImNiceWithRice agreed, only reason why I dislike playing CB is because of the SAED spam. I find it really boring.....really hopeful for the Savage Axe Mode to push the CB out of its current most efficient way to play it. Into what we see in this video, this way of playing it looks allot more interesting and fun imo.

Google is trash focus existed in 4u, and was only omitted on builds that spammed SAEDs (read: elemental CBs)

If you are doing these just because you want a challenge, do 3U style SA, that was a pain to use back in the day, not being able to switch modes during combos, only stationary when not attacking:P

Not sure about 3U, but back In MH3, the Switch Axe was the shit. At least, It was satisfying for a first time getting Into MH. The only downside about It was the Axe' spamming attack, which had no finisher, and dodging was not possible, leaving you vulnerable for like 2 seconds after you stopped doing It..

Crimson SAED doesn’t uncharge your shield anymore, so it’s literally free to spam

It was buffed in World to not deplete red shield on use as someone mentioned previously and in Gen, Ultra was nerfed so you were punished for even using it. The Ultra got buffed in GU to do tons of KO damage but Ultra is barely even an option still unless you play Valor CB and/or if you play Elemental Phial CBs. There were apparently some Elemental SAED set ups in 4U as well.

Eh, World added too many unnecessary buffs I don't mind SAED not consuming red shield since it was really not worth it back then, but the speed buff to most animation + instant AED/SAED is really stupid It would be fine if it was a compensation for some buffs to monsters, but it's not. In fact it feels more like most monsters were nerfed, just look at diablos, he's a joke, where did his speed and damage go? I don't like to be THAT guy, but I had to say this, MHW is obviously a great game, but not a good Monster Hunter experience and even less of a challenge

Hmm, I'm not saying your 100% cheating but this looks to be done on PC and PC runs just can't be trusted. The monster seemed to die too fast even without the over use of SAED, I'm willing to bet you used some sort of mod to make the damage look normal even though the real damage you were doing was much higher. There is a reason PC isn't generally accepted for speedruns and runs like this being suspect is a clear example as to why. I'm sure the sheeple watching this won't notice anything. Just know that some people see what you are doing and it's not OK.

Show us a link of a mod that does the said things and show a video or gameplay with the same stuff and performance to prove that Canta really was cheating. All you're doing is tossing baseless theories and concluding that he's cheating.
