andrew jablonski mastered CB in MH4U. Now it is nerfed, but its still good. Bushido is amazing if you can master it like him. I'm trying but it is very diffcult. when you do counter it is satisfing. wish they had keep the same combo list from MH4u + Bushido= :]

It was a super burst. Not ultra. Cancel ultra by pressing BACK (whichever character is facing) + X , if you have red shield charge.

when you're about to use ultraburst, hold down the analog while pressing A

So, after playing the game i think i got it. But it isn't the Bushido guard. It's the guard point still exclusive to the charge blade. If you morph from sword to axe when getting hit the transformation will conclude leaving you in Axe mode so you just have to press X+A+Back to get the super burst.

もともと、猫飯とスキルによる砲撃威力の強化は1.4倍が上限です。ガンランスの場合そうするには猫飯の砲撃術+砲術王(砲術マスター)が同時発動している必要があるのですが、チャージアックスの場合、ガンランスと違って猫飯の砲撃術と砲術「師」だけで威力が最大(限界)になるって意味です。優遇されてます。 なぜか？ カプコンのみぞ知ることです。

I think you're gonna at least need an attack 10/ tenderizer 3 or 4 slotted talisman. That's what I have and I was able to make this same set minus artillery novice. I would use load up or minds eye.
