The heading hold thing can be fixed by making sure that “Pedals Auto Move” in settings is un-checked (blank) this way the heading hold cannot use more then the 9% authority of the AP, and will never trim your pedals

Oh this is gold! I've had so many weird issues with this thing over the almost 2 years I've had it now, not every time but it happens fairly often and it can be infuriating. When it works tho, its a brilliant helicopter! Love the module!

I'm currently experiencing this at every cold start on the MI24 campaign. I have to turn on the yaw autopilot then turn it off and reset the trim before i can take off. Otherwise it spins out of control when applying any collective. Thank you.

Interesting... it shouldn't be a factor for a cold start if the yaw AP only comes on after the gyros/doppler/etc have calibrated...

Volk is back in town. I hade issues with the yaw channel in the Hind last time. I tought the problem is in my old saitek pro pedals. Nearly impossible the transition and hover. The frame rate is also worst than with the Apache.

Are you using the microswitch, or using the default settings where it tries to auto-detect your pedal input?

I think i tried both settings but the result uncomfortable for me. I have all the helicopters except the Gazelle and Hind. I know the 14days not enough for evreithing. I'm sorry that they don't really care about the Kamov. @@volkvoort

@@blasterml if by "don't reall care for the Kamov" you mean you can't trial it - yeah they have a weird setup where you can buy, but not trial the Black Shark 3, while you can't buy, but you can trial Black Shark 2 (which is mostly the same experience). It takes some getting used to the microswitch stuff, or you can now turn off pedal-trimming from the system like Aeria Gloria pointed out, but the Hind is fun to fly once you get the hang of it.

@@volkvoort I meant to the ED not care about the BS3. THEY dont't do bugfixing. The bad translation in the English cockpit still there from the release. I will buy the Hind someday couse its a remarkable part of Hungaryan aviation history. I really want to learn all the helicopters in the DCS and your videos are great help for me. Sorry for my bad english.

South Africa. Dunno, I'm usually understood. Maybe try the closed captions in KZbin - few seconds I checked of this clip just now it seems to subtitle my speech correctly, except for the technical terms (e..g Heading Hold is captions as Hitting Hold).
