U guys did a very good job with the video...a thumbs up from me. Pls, I need a lil help here, I tried testing the new screen i bought on AliExpress, touch wasn't working..thank God I havent separated the old screen from the frame, so i tried returning the old screen back, the touch which had been working before had stopped working, I dnt know why. now i cant use my phone, m sending this from my pc..need help ASAP.

@@RicardoZein Ever found out what made it defect? My screen suddenly stopped responding without any inidication. No damage or falling. I'm hesitating on buying a screen because i'm not sure if it's just screen related or maybe the motherboard...

A correction I would like to point at: for Mi A2 the first two outside screws are 0.8mm pentalobe (🌟 shaped). Not the ones shown here.

Is it possible that I damaged my GPS module? It stoped working after I replaced the screen/updated to android 10. Now I don't know if it was the screen replacement or the update....

@@jussyoh I put back the old broken one and everything worked again, including GPS. Finally, a few weeks ago I installed a new lcd panel and all is good. So I figure, the problem was with the first lcd panel I bought as a replacement.

​ Filipe Galvão thank you for the reply. my replacement screen brolke down after 4 weeks. so ill have to fix it again. will order somewhere else, cause the replacement was dimm, had bad colors, bad viewing angles & the gps didnt work. hope next replacment will be better. ... tianma sth..if anybody interested i can make a detailed look for the exact model name of the screen NOT recommended. greetings

RECEIVED MY ORDER TODAY. Took me 30 minutes to replace the screen and everything working perfectly. The only thing I noticed in your video... when you take the flashlight chip out.. REMEMBER to also take the flash light glass out with it :)

Wer eine Ersatzbildschirm ohne Frame hat (was wohl die meisten haben werden) muss das Motherboard nicht umbauen. Lediglich die Batterie muss ausgebaut werden. Auch das Auslösen der Laddebuchse ist nicht nötig. Nur die Abdeckung dieser muss entfernt werden um an den Displaystecker zu kommen. Beim Auslösen der Batterie hat mir ein LEGO-Teiletrenner gute Dienste geleistet.
