Ah thank you so much bro!😊 What exactly are you looking for? At 45-50K, there are other systems that offer better audio. The reason I bought the Bar 5.1 is because I am about rent a place.. I don't wanna nab the landlord to get permission to mess with the walls and stuff to get a big 5.1 system running.. I wanted something that's easy to setup and takes up minimal space. I was willing to compromise a bit on the audio front

@@TechnologyJock My situation is similar. I stay in my own house but don't like ugly wires in the living room. Soundbars are the solution but i know they're overpriced and I'm not too convinced abt the sound quality. Jbl bar 5.1 was the one model I was looking at.. but I'm afraid it's gonna sound tinny with recessed mids and overemphasized boomy bass. So asked what u thought abt it since u own it.

The Bar 5.1 is excellent for movies. Not perfect for music, but not bad either. You can head out to some JBL showroom and try the product before buying... It's an actual 5.1 system. Subwoofer is amazing. The two rear speakers are also good for surround effect. Also if it's your own house it's just two wires that will be visible.. you can route them inside that small rectangular pipe kind of thing.. it's available in all electrical shops.. or you could even do concealed wiring which is more expensive but I guess you could get Yamaha's 30K HTIB and do concealed wiring - your entire cost will be less than 45K for sure.. And Yamaha's 30K HTIB is amazing!
