are you still using these? update on latency please if you notice any difference? some people say it's app-specific
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
Yes! I still use it. Its good (for music and phone calls). I use it mostly for taking calls and the seems to be capturing good sound from the microphone. About the music part, I have already mentioned in my review, that its good in terms of vocals. Has decent bass (neither high nor low). Volume levels are also good. Latency - Yes. It does have latency (atleast in my unit). Mine is not the Indian version. Its the global version of earbuds, that i imported, even before it got released in India. Due to the latency, I cannot watch videos on youtube. There is significant lag in the audio. I have tried it on multiple phones - Redmi Note 8 Pro, Asus Zen Max Pro M2, and Nexus 6p. All the 3 models have latency issues when played video on youtube. Latency is also present when recorded video files played on the phone, using google photos app. I am not sure of the indian variants though. perhaps my phone does not have the LHDC codec. Hope this helps!!

@@TechnoShare thank you so much for your thorough response! I've been trying to decide whether to buy these or not. I have the black airdots and I don't like their sound and they disconnect sometimes or randomly connect when they're in their case. Do these sound similar to the airdots in your experience? About the latency, a lot of people were saying you should download the Xiaomi app to activate LHDC, but I guess it didn't make a different in your case? Some people say there's no lag on KZbin and it's very confusing. Also, did you happen to try them on an iPhone?

Are these dual driver or single driver earpieces?
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
I think it is only single driver. There are lot of options on wired earphones. Very few wireless ones.

It has LHDC Right?? Will This LHDC Codec Works On Redmi Note 7 pro Or Note 9 Pro Max?
@agentphoenixtm6424 жыл бұрын
As i see it was connected to AAC on ur note 8 which has mediatek pro
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! It didn't work on my redmi note 8 pro. In the developer options, when I change the codec to LHDC, it does not save it. When I switch between the settings window and other app, it will lose the setting and come back to AAC. The lag is easily noticeable when watching videos on KZbin. I tested the earbuds on 2 other phones ie ASUS zenfone max pro m2 and google nexus 6p. It works fine on them. Almost no latency on nexus 6p. Very little (not noticeable) on asus max pro m2. Sorry, I am Not sure about note 7 pro or note 9 pro max as I don't have those phones to test. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 👍🙂

Slide the earphones from sides as sides are curved. How can we configure the double taps as you mentioned?
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! It can be configured using an app. But the app is available only in Chinese and not available on playstore. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend using this app for the indian version, as the firmware seems to be slightly different compared to the china version. I also seen in few other reviews a settings button would be shown on the popup when the earbuds pair. (this popup does not work on my phone). So far, none of the reviews show what options are present in the settings 🙁. Hoping, if xiaomi would release an app in English for Indian version 🙂. Thanks for watching! Do hit the like 👍 button and subscribe👆 if you haven't 😉

@TechnoShare what would you recommend between mi true wireless 2 and realme buds air . I am using poco f1 . Please help
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
Hi Bro, this is a good question. I have not personally experienced the audio on Realme Buds Air, as I dont have it. But, I can give you some hints on things to consider, before you buy. Here's my thoughts: Similarities : ► Both are in-ear types, they have long stem. Have touch or tap features for music controls, smart assistants, in-ear detection etc. ► Both claim Low latency, power bass, etc ► Both have Environment noise cancellation during phone calls ► Both have Type-C charging ► Price : Almost same Differences: ► Wireless Charging : Realme buds have wireless charging, while Mi airbuds do not have ► Modes : Realme buds have a gaming mode, where it claims to optimize the latency with a dual channel transmission ► Battery Life : Realme Buds : 3hrs (buds) and 17hrs (with case), Mi Earbuds 4hrs (buds) and 14hrs (with case) ► Sound Driver : Realme Buds : 12mm, Mi earbuds : 14.5mm. ► Audio Codec : Realme buds : AAC, MI earbuds : LHDC So those were the similarities and differences in spec. Design wise, in my opinion, the realme buds have a good look, with curved edges on the buds as well on the case. The case also looks compact on Realme buds, with option to choose from multiple colors (Not really a criteria for me though). The MI earbuds is a bit bulky in size, especially the stem part. Sound quality : From my personal experience, it sounds great, except for the bass not so much on the MI earbuds. Loudness levels is also good. Latency: I could see a lot of latency when watching youtube video on my Redmi Note 8 pro. Just surprised that its the same brand, but not really matching up here. But it worked fine on my other two phones - ASUS zenfone Max Pro M2 and Google Nexus 6p. Very low latency on these 2 phones, so it was good. I cant comment much on the Realme airbuds as I have no clue of the sound quality. But the specs look impressive though. If the sound quality is same as Mi earbuds, then the decision lies on the design, looks, color, latency and wireless charging. Hope this helps!! Please do give this video a like 👍 bro, if it was useful. And do subscribe 👆 to my channel. Thanks for watching 🙂

@@TechnoShare thanks a lot ... Actually the wireless charging part i don't care much about that. And the bass part is also sorted in the indian version as xiaomi claims. At the same price it make it difficult to decide. 😅 What do you feel about the fitting in the ear ?
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
Fitting for me is fine. I have to plug it in with the face of the earbud parallel to the ear canal, for a tight fit. If I turn the driver vents (the black tapered part where the sound comes from) towards the ear canal, it is a loose fit. Left ear fit is better than right ear in my case 🙂. Has not fallen any time so far.

How did you update the firmware ????
@TechnoShare4 жыл бұрын
I used MI AI app for updating it. I had very low volume in the global version of the earphones. It improved after flashing the firmware. But, if you are using the indian version of the earphones, then do not attempt to flash it. Versions may not be compatible and you may brick your earphone.
