Mi8 sim and wifi problem

We are trying to get phone signal network in mi8 but we failure. The sim card works in other smartphones. The wifi network dont turn on too.

Same problem here, it's been stated by many people that it's most likely a hardware issue where the baseband unit is soldered poorly or defect. I'm going to demand a refund tomorrow (in case it's still possible). It's such a shame that such a great phone suffers from these problems.

I think its planned obsolescence. My phone worked fine for 2.5 years, now it stopped suddenly.

its was hardware failure mostly, you need to bring it to repair, mine happens after i drop the phone

Never more Xiaomi...i have this phone 2 years,and still the same problem with connect wi-fi,generally I cannot use internet in my work,or different places ...,not worth attention :(

Tienes que flasher tu telefono a una version mas nueva Para que la nueva rom stock corrija todos estos errores.

I got a useable way though turn on the airplane mode on and switch off your Phone and turn it on after few days and don't turn off the airplane mode or switch off your phone you will be able to connect to wifi! My phone has the same problem now I mistake rebooted the phone and now I have the same problem again can't turn in the wifi nor data

Hola, tengo una solución temporal ante el problema Abrí el celular con un blower de cabello, calentando, y con un plástico delgado entran y abren la tapa trasera (solo plástico o se puede romper el vidrio) desconectamos el sensor de huellas y limpiamos el chipset del celular en general, y aparte al extremo derecho de la batería, se encuentran dos cables que van de la placa de abajo, a la de arriba (motherboard) desconectan, y con este limpiador, se coloca en los contactos de estos dos cables largos, esperan que la zona seque completamente, y de ser posible sellen nuevamente con goma para sellamoento de celular, y si no tuvieron en el momento como yo, intenten calentar nuevamente, hasta que la goma antigua selle la mayor cantidad posible y debería servirles. (Por si preguntan, no tengo experiencias trabajando con hardware de celulares, y se me ocurrió hacer todo este procedimiento, y me ha servido, no soy ningún profesional, y todo esto lo puedes hacer bajo tu propio riesgo, de igual manera, si planeaban igual cambiar de celular por este problema, que hay que perder?) :) Pd: Es un problema de hardware, no de software, he reinstalado stocks firmwares de distintos lados y me daba el mismo problema, hasta que decidí abrirlo. Ahora bien, le ha estado sirviendo muy bien esta solución, y cuando me falla (muy rara vez) le doy un golpecito a la parte de abajo, no debería ser así, pero debe ser algún problema de fabricante. Espero haber ayudado.

@@georgeghera yeah, I can confirm. I've opened the phone like three times now, and the mobile Network works barely And the WiFi antenna doesn't give me the real speed using 5G, this phone gave me a lot of problems :/

@@cegama543 Usando alcohol isopropílico y un isopo de algodón es suficiente para limpiar. Y sí, los cables son uno negro y uno blanco, y según estuve leyendo corresponden a las antenas que están ubicadas en la parte inferior/trasera del celular
