It was even before the whole Discovery thing, when they were acting like they were going to plan something big with HBO max. From the beginning CW had to deal with a lot of executive meddling, red tape galore and the capricious whims of higher ups who didn't know what the fuck they wanted to do with every DC property they had.

They gave Mia such awesome action scenes! Truly did the character justice. The actress also gave her 100% and you can see it! Mia could not have been played better by anyone else. I think a spin off to see Mia and William live their lives would have been so awesome. I was eagerly waiting for that including the green lantern one for Diggle. Such missed opportunities. I wish we got to see more Mia Smoak-Queen.
