Taeyang is a member of BigBang! Lisa and him have known each other for a long time, and she was in one of his videos as a backup dancer pre-debut (around 2014 iirc). He's their main dancer and main vocalist. He's also married and has a kid. He's had a pretty extensive solo career as well, I hope you can get into him. My favorite song by him is "Seed."

The fact that Blackpink is branded as a group and as individuals made me so interested in them more than I was already. I love them as a group and tbh I’m always gonna be a OT4 Stan no matter who my bias is, but it’s the fact on how YG capitalizes on each members image and talents to where they can successfully carry themselves even as soloists just makes me fall in love with the members even more. Each of them, even from the start, has always had amazing potential and charm that I can see them holding as soloists and when combined as a group.

Taeyang made R&B popular in Korea . When he and his group BigBang debut in 2006 balads were dominant . BigBang brought hip hop , R&B and were the first to have a rapline , actual rappers not just a person trained to do some rap. Yes That is Taeyang in both memes 😅 He got very famous for Yoroburn. We wait for BigBang leader GDragon comeback. Taeyang and GDragon trained together at YG since they were 13 . YG was poor then , had offices in a basement. The 2 of them would clean the practice room and be back-up dancers for YG artists . They worked really hard and started from the bottom .

Taeyang is called the idol of idols. He was literally the idol of bts members, especially Jimin & Suga. They looked up to him before their debut. Suga invited him to one of his show episodes in which they talked about the past, present, and future, and taeyang gave him some advice on going solo..etc. And in the making of jimin & taeyang's song "vibe" (TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT) jimin was blushing and being very happy since he was standing with his idol making music / filming together!
