Lean Green agree with the other comment as well. My mom has always been & will always be my best friend & I hers. I couldn’t imagine not having the relationship I have with my mom. We talk/text every single day about everything. Even simple things like sending her a picture of my gorgeous orchid in its second full bloom earlier tonight & she was like oh wow ash, that’s amazing! So pretty! Lol it doesn’t have to be complicated or overthought. You just have to spend a lot of time together & get to know one another. You also have to be open with one another & trust that you can be vulnerable with one another & sharing things without judgment or scorn from with side. And same as the other commenter, my dad is a tug boat captain & spent a lot of time at work & so I spent A LOT of time with just my mom & my siblings & I’m the eldest child, grandchild, etc. on both sides. But still nobody compared to my mom. 🤷‍♀️ Just talk & get to know one another. Gotta start somewhere, hun. Best of luck to you. Lol Unless your mom is a truly wicked person, which I doubt since you (or someone you know) clearly wants a close relationship with your/their mom, you won’t regret it. 🥰

I’m not close with either of my parents, however I don’t think that anything can be done about that sometimes. Many girls who have troubling relationships with their parents isn’t that girls fault nor is there anything she can do. I just cut one of my parents out of my parenting because of how damaging the relationship is. Ngl tho seeing Mia and her mom really relaly makes me happy :)

Like no shades to anyone but some moms are abit more strick some are more bubbly etc. but all and all, I think just having activities tgt would really help tighten up the relationship, like going shopping or just go eat out tgt for example.
