Miami Beach lifeguard swimming into the Rip to save human lives ... It could be your mother your father, son daughter . this video shows the work that the lifeguards do , it shows how they rescue patrons that where stock on a rip current and could not make it back to the shoreline . One lifeguard gets to a girl that was with her boyfriend and could not swim back to shore because the current was too strong for her swimming skills to overcome. A second lifeguard arrives to rescue the boyfriend that also needed assistance after being hit by waves after waves he got exhausted . Lifeguards go in a second time and rescue the life of a young lady that was not strong enough to fight the current by her self , you can see her holding on to the rescue buoy as the lifeguard brings her back to shore . that day Lifeguards performed over 100 rescues like this I was told by one of the lifeguards after I showed the images that I captured of them he said that they where rescuing people out of that particular Rip current all day but that there where about 40 to 50 more rip currents in the 8 miles of beach that covers the length of the city of Miami Beach .
