i called Chop as a target for the Dolphins weeks ago based purely on the idea that he'd be a different pass rusher than what you already had (before the Shaq signing). Chubb is power, Phillips is hybrid, Chop is speed rusher.

Caviat.. Im not a Dolphin fan. I actually don't like the Dolphins. I've watched Chop Robinson play a lot. It's actually a good pick. Especially as a pass rusher. He's really disruptive, even though the stats don't blow you away.

It's not a bad pick bc of the player it's a bad pick bc we have a QB that needs a great oline to succeed. I'm not understanding how any of you can be okay with a 2 second get the ball out offense. In the NFL that is going to get shut down so fast when they catch on. It happens every year. We need more oline. We already have 2 good pass rushers. Just not a smart pick. Y'all make sense of it by saying "you can never have too many pass rushers" that is the biggest BS statement I've ever heard.

Dolphins got a good pick. You can't teach speed 4.48 at 250 (Pff). Can't have enough edge rushers, especially in the AFC. No guarentee Phillips or Chubb will be the same. The Dolphins had to get a edge rusher. (The Chiefs got over! Man oh Man)

Chop Robinson may end up being a great player sure, but Miami desperately needed to take an offensive line addition. If they don't take an o lineman with their day 2 pick if I'm tua I wouldn't sign a long term contract. There isn't a QB on the face of this earth that can dominate without a good to great oline. I'm sorry but Chris dropped the ball on this pick. Not bc I think it's a bust but bc it wasn't a desperate need.
