On the Hollins TD it was Siran Neal that ran into Fuller to let Hollins get free and Maye that slips. Neal also tackled a guy in the endzone for no reason to give up the holding penalty which ended up being a TD to the TE rather than a FG. Throw in Poyer's game deciding penalty then both ex-Bills players really helped out their old team.

The reason is that it can help keep our rbs keep healthy. Im not worried about tua he's doing good. I said good not great, chill. He's just gotta stay healthy, and we need a better o line that can withstand pressure for more than 3 seconds. Tua is an elite level talent at QB. If you could wave a wand and remove those concussions, there is a good chance we would see a different audience towards Tua. People want to say Burrow and Herbert are better. Neither of them are doing anything ground breaking right now. If anything, you could argue that Herbert has only regressed from his Rookie year and Burrow is so injury prone, he is equal to Tua and guess what: both teams suck without their starting QBs. The game is a game of teams, not of single players. Tua's message that the team should have not fell apart because 1 person is out, yet that is exactly what happened. This Dolphins scheme is above 90% of QBs ability in the NFL. Accuracy and timing is everything in the Dolphins offense. Try to hard, you fail. The offensive line looks better, but why does it take half a season to learn to play the role you have been doing all your life? The defense is a bend and dont break style defense and for most of the season have been there; but it looks as soon as Tua returns, they turned off the power. The truth is, the defense is really bad and they only looked good vs bad offenses. Tua faced a decent Bills defense and torched them up. Best game vs the Bills and it was the Defense that lost them the game. If our Safety doesn't head on hit that guy, we get the ball back with 40s left in the 4th. We could have been the one that kicked the game winning FG. Either way, the issues are still there: Aging players on the dolphins and we have to get rid of these Vets. We need early and Mid career talent, not over the hill talent. Next year we get 30M+ to hit our cap as we did not pay anything this year and saved it for next year. Here is what Miami needs next year: 2 OG, 1 Center, 1 safety, 1 Backup QB, 1 Edge, 2 LB. You want to draft the OG and Backup QB, you can get a mid aged Center, Safety, Edge. You look in the draft for diamonds in the rough style LB that can play coverage. You could argue we need a tackle on the defense side to fill in for losing Wilkins.

Hey Doug thanks for the film breakdown. You’ve been bringing up drafting a QB and I would love to hear your thoughts on Dillon Gabriel to be Tuas long time backup? He’s projected as a day 2 or 3 pick. He plays just like Tua and I think could run the offense well when Tua is hurt. His flaws are that he’s short and doesn’t have a huge arm. His strengths are his timing, anticipation, accuracy, quick decisions and he’s a lefty like Tua as well. Wouldn’t have to give up much for a qb that fits the mold and can be developed.

@theodoresmith52722 сағат бұрын
@rainman11 your FANatical view of the dolphins talent is bias. Phillips, Holland, who is gone anyway, and chubb you overvalue big time. Holland makes a great play here and there but is more often a liability. Phillips just another edge who was okay but has just suffered 2 major leg injuries. Chubb? He is just good. He isnt great. Sieler is the same. Ramsey is plus 3 and not the great talent he . Campbell is playing well. The rest of the back 7 is trash besides Ramsey. Geno, Allen x2, Tyler, even Trevor, before the team had injuries, abused the defense. Randolph, AR, and jacoby executed well enough to and they suck. So what young talent? Phillips and Holland are 4th year players. Ramsey is plus 30. Sieler isn't young, nor is Campbell. Those are the 3 playing the best. Chubb isn't a young player and we probably won't see him this year. Like i said, Holland is gone and hasn't played well. Cam Smith, he was on the bench for a reason. Being behind Kader, your not good. Are you considering them in your food young talent? They have been abused. That leaves chop....
@theodoresmith52722 сағат бұрын
@rainman11 sieler is 29, chubb is 28 and is returning from major injury. It's probably going next season before we see him. Phillips has 2 major injuries and will be in his 5th year. He had 9 sacks his best year. Holland hasn't played well since Flores left. He is also on his last year here. Name a player that has already preformed well from the last 3 drafts on defense. I will say chop is starting to play better. Cam Smith was on the bench for a reason. He may end up decent in a few years, but by then, his contract will be up. We haven't gotten anything from him in a year and a half. How can you claim he is good young talent? He has shown nothing.
@theodoresmith52722 сағат бұрын
@rainman11 the biggest problem isn't that they don't have some talented players, it's that to many below avg players are starting beside them, and they can't make up for that. The injuries only exemplifies it.

if that's was Tua's best game then we're in trouble. Folks think I hate Tua. I don't. I just know that we invested a top 5 pick in him when we shouldnt had. You don't waste a top 5 pick on a PROSPECT that just busted his hip and is on injure reserve. The Dolphins then wasted a 1st, 2nd, 2x4th and a 6th to grab Hill for Tua to pair up with Waddle who we spent the 6th pick the year prior to grab for Tua. So just to recap, we've burned 3x 1st, a 2nd, 2x 4 and a 6 for the Waddle, Tua and Hill trio. Then ON TOP of that, we dumped Flores to bring in McDaniel because Tua's feelings were hurt. Oh right, almost forgot, we then lost picks trying to go after Brady and Payton because we had such high hopes on Tua and Flores. So that's more dumped towards "Tua". All of this for a QB that at that point in time had accomplished jack diddly squat - not like he showed that he was Stroud or Daniels in Year One that merits us rushing to capitalize on that rookie contract. We're now in Year Five of the Tua experience with still a good portion of the fanbase asking the Tuanons "So, can he win in cold weather (no), beat good defenses (no), stay healthy (no), be a force multiplier (no), etc" but they sure want to tell us "look how much better he is than the 7th rounder and the two scrub backups that were on the street so therefore Tua is da bestest QB evah
