The phins are legit, and even with their backup QB are capable of putting up points in bunches. The Hawks D needs to be on it this week to keep it competitive. They need to stay focused, not get complacent, and keep their foot on the gas pedal.

I feel the Seahawks will be alright. I think the coaching thus far of a young talented team has been very good. Their halftime adjustments in both games have been effective. Macdonald can obviously coach young players. In the end we shall see but I like what’s happening so far. But two words - run defense.

Geno was a career backup for a decade until 2022. I think the new-look Patriots are a little better than people give em' credit for. Bo Nix however just looks bad. With the absolute mockery the Broncos D put on the Hawks' offense in the first half (2 safeties and 1 pick which gave Nix the ball in the red zone) any other QB would have won that game by at least 2 scores.

As a Dolphins fan, pain just pain man. Even with Tua we don’t stand a chance. Tua clearly isn’t the answer. We need a better Quarterback. It just goes to show that even if you have the best weapons, best WRs, best RBs, if you don’t have an elite QB like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow you don’t stand a chance. I will say though it’s extremely hard to find an elite QB in this league.

This game is already frustrating and it hasn't even been played yet. The Dolphins continue to be struck by the injury bug; Tua has unfortunately been taken by the aforementioned bug meaning Skylar Thompson starts again. Meanwhile, the Seahawks took the Pats into overtime. The Hawks are the king of giving their fans heart attacks, or at least are one of the best at it. Between Miami's backup QB starting and the Cardiac Hawks; this game will be close. I think the Hawks take it at home in a one-score game, 24-20.

Mike MacDonald and Ryan Grubb have proven that when the game plan isn't working as designed in the first half, that they can make some pretty quick adjustments at the half and come out firing again. They don't have to win a "pretty" game, just grind something out and put their offense in a good position to win it in the 4th quarter. Would have been a more sure thing if K9 weren't injured, but the receivers have shown that they can sustain drives and find the endzone. Miami have the weapons on offense, but lack the engine running it with Tua out. Could be wrong, and maybe Skylar turns out to be a diamond in the rough, or maybe he does what everyone's expecting and just hands it off to his backs to gain chunk yardage. Either way, I still have greater faith in Seattle's defense to generate turnovers and get the ball back to Geno. They've done that now for 2 weeks straight - getting picks, jarring the ball loose, dropping running backs behind the line of scrimmage, and blocking a field goal attempt. If it weren't for those wonky safeties in week one, and Stevenson going off in New England, their wins would be looking far more convincing to the pundits at home.
