This was a strange but enjoyable game. It could've been our thrid lost but the team fought until the very end. After falling down by 10, they could've laid down but they didn't lighten up they tightened up. The second round of the OT reminded me of sitting in the OB watching the defense seal the game. Respectfully, Emory didn’t play extremely well he just didn’t turnover the ball at a TVD level and he played like he had training wheels on, which is expected. I was very happy he didn’t over think it or force throws to one receiver! Go Canes, but I just don’t want our fanbase to over kill it like we are doing with a freshman and focus on being right over just enjoying a W! Go Canes. PS the email to the NCAA and ACC commissioners office will be going out! Our alumni base is small but our reach on social media and internationally is wide! It’s time we use it.

With all the good , positive things that we had winning this game , the thing that impressed me the most was how good true freshman QB responded in his first collegiate start against the ACC's number one defense. Even though Dawson's calls for him were conservative as they should for a first start QB , Emory Williams made only one mistake and did everything else close to perfection.

Well. I actually liked the game plan from start to finish. Good coaching and good play by all the players. It gave the team the confidence they needed to finish. They did just that. I believe this game was drawn up and executed as planned. I was proud of the entire performance. If they would have lost in the end. I had already told myself this team is definitely heading in the right direction. Grit,mental toughness. Team performance was soooo solid. They all learned so much about the team and the coaches. Everyone to a tee was focused
