I hear your concerns and appreciate you all looking out. I know you guys are looking out for me and I only want to do the same. I was hesitant as well but I will say there is a lot involved with making sure everything MCQ is doing is regulated and set up properly and a lot went into doing just that. They are registered with the SEC and each car is filed as an asset just like any other. Seeing these comments has me concerned but I do think it’s a cool idea and opportunity to have cars be part of an investment portfolio. I totally understand with all the meme coin scams everyone is cautious. I thought if done right why not make this available to car lovers like myself. The cars that are available for investing are all insured, stored properly, maintained professionally, not driven, accessible. All the questions/needs as an investor I felt were covered but maybe still not enough. Thank you for all the feedback. I take all of this to heart sincerely. ❤

A car’s value is extremely volatile and subject to the capriciousness of people with more money than brains (as Jay Leno would say). It may sound like a good idea, but I can easily see this going south in a very bad way, taking your reputation with it.

The problem now even more than before, its more of a sin to put miles on cars and im not talking these halo cars or the trilogy etc. Of all the cars ive driven the countach is the one where the saying, " never meet your childhood hero you'll be disappointed", that is exactly what happened. I would reach out people that have more info about that platform, and confirm that the MCQ market platform is setup the same way. Basically the business model is the person in charge gets to buy and sell high end cars and use someone else's money. The person in charge enjoys them and the perks of being the person in charge (salary, expenses), probably makes a commission of the purchase and sale of each vehicle, never at risk for a loss and only pays the people that fund is hobby turned income any profit made. If you're a part of that company and you're listed as part of the main investment team when it goes down so do you. It won't matter whether you were aware or not aware of the facts I hope you're not listed as an officer and please tell me you used a private LLC to sign up for this. It’s a lot like a REIT, but there’s no rent coming in while you wait to sell and you’ll only own part of one car instead of a pool of properties. With no rental income, the fractional owners will have to pay monthly maintenance fees (building rent, property taxes, insurance, car repairs & upkeep, car insurance, staff, overhead, etc).

I got to sit in a brand new F40 at Ferrari of Houston in the early 90s. I was talking to the owner of the dealership and it turned out he was from my hometown. He unlocked it and let me check it out. It was such an awesome car! I can't imagine getting to drive one!

It is a dumb model, criminal basically, but to her defense against what you said, they don't get to drive the cars either because it depreciates the value. You get a private museum for as long as the facility exists and they get to pocket the vast majority of the money that you give them.

I live just outside London UK. Back in the day a girl opposite me was dating a guy who had one of these. You knew when he picked her up and he dropped her off. The noise was amazing. Separately, at my local nightclub, a different guy had one he parked right at the front door so the bouncers could keep an eye on it. They always cost a lot, but back then, they cost less than an apartment. Now they cost a lot more than a house!

When you drive out from the dealership, we give you a drive out tag and a temporary registration. Unless you’re on a test drive, I don’t understand how they would not have given you a temporary registration or the police just accepting your purchase order as proof of purchase that day, but not yet registered, depending on your state laws. I would definitely take that to the Ferrari dealership and ask them where they failed. I would also speak with the assistant attorney when you show up for the date and they will likely drop it if it is already been registered by that point.

Sounds more like a Ponzi scheme to me. This is for cars that people will "assume" will go up in value. What happens if a market flops or the business fails because there is no one else investing in "new cars". The employees don't work for free, there will always be overhead that needs to be paid.

at least im not the only one scratching my head at this. cars cost money to aquire, store, maintain, and sell. unless the vehicle appreciates a large amount in a short time there is no way any investor will make anything. honestly the only "upside" is bragging rights, and how lame is it to say you own a portion of a car, but you have to go to miami to look at it, and you cant drive it. seems about the same as paying $50 for a tiny plot of land in scotland and getting a certificate that you are a "lord"

I used to love the F40, but that was before I saw one in person. The fit/finish/interior looked almost like a kit car. I imagine it was amazing to drive, but the LaFerrari look so much more refined to me. Btw, the F40 that I saw on a near daily basis was often PARKED IN THE DIRT half up on a curb outside my housing accomodation in Kuwait. It was owned by an Al-Sabah family member. He apparently had numerous Ferrari's and treated this thing like a basic car...

How can you own part of a car? Yet you can't drive it, sounds like a behind the scenes loan office. Someone gives this company money to own part of a car, they will never be able to drive, yet this business will be able to use your money however they want once they agree on what percentage you would own. So other people are buying your cars for you, and if you sell or once you sell, they get a profit. Am I understanding this right?

I’m not sure. But I don’t think they need to sell to get a profit. It’s like a stock. You own a percentage of the value of the vehicle. So you buy in at X amount (%) and then you are betting that the value of the vehicle goes up. I’d assume you could sell out at any time and get whatever you the value has increased. Just like buying stock is owning a percentage of a company.

Had a client that had one. My favorite car ever. If I had stayed at the Ducati dealer i was working at, i would have gotten to drive it. One of my biggest regrets that i didnt get the chance. He did give me his Panagale Tricolore for the weekend once, so that was fun.
