@@M21655 Negative. Nick commented on how many of their officers don’t wear vest because of how hot it is for them down there. This was many years ago he said something about it in a video. I just recently came back across their vlogs and noticed many of them are wearing outer carriers which is certainly a newer thing. Go back to their old vlogs and you’ll see most of them don’t wear any vest at all.

@@KiloMikeMike99and how can you tell for a fact that a covert vest isn’t being worn underneath the uniform shirt? You are aware of how thin the newest ones are correct? My agency provides a 2 option choice for patrol.. 1. Point Blank's Ultra Covert Carrier.. which under a uniform shirt has almost zero printing.. and option 2. Point Blank’s Elite Concealable vest. Which is slightly thicker but is custom fit to the wearer… and printing would not be able to be seen by someone who does not know what to look for and cameras wouldn’t be able to pick it up.. I’m just saying… now a days it is extremely hard to tell if patrol is wearing a concealed vest or not.. if the department is with the current times.

Question do police departments allow officers to patrol in the city that they live in if they happen to apply for it or is that against some sorta rules? Also do officers have trouble with name of streets if so how do they get around that?

I’m not a LE in fl, I personally don’t know about any rule that says that you can’t live where u patrol. Personally, I wouldn’t haha don’t shit where u eat sorta thing. about the street, practice and repetitions plus u get assigned to a geographic area and u learn that first, but it comes with time thou.

Parking those 2 patrol cars on the train tracks at the end wasn't the smartest move. Even if a train was able to see the emergency lights by the time they see them its still not enough time for the train to make a full stop. We already saw what happened a year ago in Colorado when a Police Officer left her car in the tracks and got hit with a detained suspect still inside the patrol car.

Miami is a very dangerous city. I used to go to south beach it is safe. As a tourist, when you land in Miami Airport and get a car rental then drive out of airport it is so bad. I was told from back in the 80's and 90's never get lost or drive near the airport. It is the worst part of the city around the airport. I was recently in Miami, I had an early 6 am flight and had to get the rental car back by 4am for my flight. The dam gps had me go on side roads. The Highway at night is not bad because on highway but when on city streets that late at night is not good. I had to get gas and got gas but I was one block from the airport. Thank God there were cops that pulled cars over and they were at the red light so I can drive the one block to get to the airport. I felt safer when cops are out in wee hours of the morning. I guess growing up with family in Florida they always said never drive in Miami at night. It stuck with me. I had noticed nice areas of Miami where the art district was and museums it was nice. Shocked to see Miami has some good areas. Most of the city looked very bad. I thought Coral Gables is very wealthy.
