Don stopped being strong in the 80s. That's why he never built a defense or a running game that could compete with top teams. We always had to try to outscore them. Don was so soft he kept his friends Tom Olividotti and Chuck Studley at DC even after they proved to not know how to run a defense. He also made horrible draft choices.
