@@AlexGarcia-ew2fv Bren 10 was a 10mm, not a .40. There's a large difference between the two, and I'm not talking the COAL. Side note, they bored out the one Don Johnson used to make it use .45 ACP blanks because they were much cheaper than 10mm blanks. So technically he carried a .45 ACP.

Even the way Don Johnson puts on his sunglasses shows his swagger. David Caruso tried to emulate the sunglasses bit in CSI Miami, but never quite made it

I hate saying LOL but I'll say that made laugh. I just realized from your statement that I never knew that Caruso was trying too hard to be cool with those fashion poses and demonic baritone voice!!But I still think he's cool and the show CSI Miami.

@@djsomali4414 I enjoy watching quite a few current shows, but when it comes to reruns, it's Miami Vice for me. How is it possible that it is still so talked about 40 years after it premiered? People who weren't even alive 40 years ago have discovered it and love it. I can't imagine a reboot without Don Johnson and PMT, so I don't know what Vin is doing. The movie wasn't that hot, because Don and PMT were born to play Crockett and Tubbs. Miami Vice was like catching lightning in a bottle and I think it's best to just leave it be
@djsomali44142 ай бұрын
@@lindacollins903 Yes to leave It be or for a reboot to hire the best writer, director, and actor/actresses. What did you love about It specifically? The best thing about Miami Vice for me was the 80s New Wave/Rock music. The show was ground breaking In that It combined a lot of beautiful music In It's episodes which no other show has done. Creating a music video feel.

I just watched this ep last night. It wasn't aired originally here in Australia, I had to wait until the DVD's came out, but I can see why. It was a really intense, unpleasant story, and left me feeling quite depressed. The dialogue was a real standout, though, and I loved Castillo's reaction to the cat in the station. "What's that doing in here?" "It's evidence!" He nearly smiled. A Season 4 standout. 😺👍🏻

Miami vice was a great show, but the continuity in some scenes was terrible. I remember one scene where Tubbs and Crockett get back to the office and Tubbs sits back in his chair at his desk, and he and Crockett engage in conversation about a case. But a couple of times the camera cuts back between Tubbs and Crockett, Tubbs suit tie kept changing. His two ties were very close in color, but a completely different pattern. Or when Crockett slips off his jacket and and goes into the lieutenants office wearing his over the shoulder gun holster, but when he gets into the office he's not wearing it, and minutes later he comes back out of the office and magically he's wearing it again !. Or the infamous white lamborghini chase, where the taillights on the lambo keep changing. So clearly filmed using two different cars for some reason. Another one is when Trudy prints out a rap sheet for Crockett.. as she did on many occasions. But when Trudy spins around in her chair to talk to Crockett across the room, there's only a few items on her desk and no printer. How the heck did she print that out ? I know there only little things, but once you pick up on them and watch the show some time later, you can't unsee them lol 🙄

It was how was suppose to...with honor and truth ....they got fed up with injustice and corruption...they realised you can't go against the system by yourself or a few. They realised its about politics and they were wasting their time and risking their lives for something that will never change....they just hanged their gloves/boots with dignity...sad final but so truthful to what the whole series stood for all these years. I know , the 80s ended in that handshake....you could feel their real emotion ( both ) in those final lines...sad but true

Yeah this is about the only TV show from the 1980s I remember, because I basically stopped watching TV by the time I was 12 in 1981. After spending a year at age 16 locked up in 1985 and watching season 2, I went out and lived it with my trafficking father 1986 to his death at 48 in 1990. Like The_Makaron wrote, seasons 1,2 and 5 are good to really good to good. If you get into it you can watch season 3 and 4, but 4 was really bad generally, IMO.
