I've watched this before and decided to watch again today. I can't find the one I watched over a year ago that was spot on close to my design but just the same this one is a close second. Well done without words. I'm not fond of sound or music or such effects myself so just mute it when watching. But appreciate those who offer the option of watching a second version without noise effects. This is not too bad though but still I enjoy better in silence. This is a lovely quick video to get the idea. You take it further to custom size and design your own then. Please people think outside the box and make adjustments yourself. I'm making a 56 inch long storage pocket organizer for the front of the box that hides the mechanism and provides storage for a jack knife sofa on an older RV. There's a good set back from the front of the seat cushions about 4-5". So you shouldn't kick the pockets or contents of pockets even when full of shoes or cleaning supplies rags and even say bottles of window washing or all purpose cleaners. I found one last year that matched well showing how they make pockets a full gusset wide or one side of the gusset meets in the middle of the next gusset so you plan to use approx. double the fabric across the entire row. But sewing the gussets are just like what is shown here. So it'll get me off to the right start. 56" is a bit long but do-able. I have a 4 foot wide table that's idea for it though a wee short of 54" close enough that it's easy to handle that length. My marine canvas that's coated on one side and will be 4 layers thick at each seam/gusset is too tight a weave and thick to let me use pins. I'm going to have to apply long clips to keep everything aligned well and check often when sewing begins. I do have 3" clips now wish I'd gotten some 5" ones but never thought I'd need them. I should know better...I am always sewing utilitarian items without patterns and custom fitting. Just who knew I'd be doing something with so difficult to pin material for an entire almost 5 foot length run. Even one layer of this fabric was almost impossible to pin. I used clips for all the cushions covers I made and it worked out well. I also used double stick fabric tape to keep zippers in place. The double stick tape might be helpful in keeping the seams straight and where they need to be along with the longer clips. I can clip from the bottom but the top of pocket is going to fall 3.5 inches shy from the actual base top so that's where I can't clip. Ironing this fabric also isn't always helpful. It's got a mind of it's own. Using clapper boards to cool the iron seam to set it does help some times. I'm planning to do that too. Love how simple Mia makes this organizer look to make. I'm sure every one who wants one similar will have no problems following her directions. Thank you Mia most kind of you to share.
