I wanted to make another cap. I somehow turned the rectangle the wrong way. It was a disaster.🙁

I have made dozens and after doing what you did several times (and yes it is a disaster) I took a large sheet of paper and made a template that I lay on my fabric after folding it just to confirm that I have it turned the right way. No pinning. Just lay the paper on my fabric rectangle to confirm (or correct) what I’m about to cut. Amazing that I even need it but it is easy enough for me to get confused.
