I have this exhaust and it sounds great! Little raspy on the high end, (above 4k) but sick if you just tip into it. All in all, it's a tiny bit ricey, but it sounds super good from inside the car and it's a perfect option if you want something that's aggressive, but probably not going to get you pulled over.

I plan on having a first gen miata as my first car, and this would be perfect!!! I plan on getting a stick shift one, and i'd imagine that i could keep it within the legal decibels at speed by shifting into a high gear so the engine is at low rpm.

I’m young to currently 17, and my miata was not my first car it was a civic the miata is a very fun car to drive however i don’t think it’s a great first car as you’ll want to drive with your friends and such. And these cars don’t usually have cup holders witch doesn’t sound bad at first but as a daily driver it does get annoying however you can get aftermarket cup holders! anyways enjoy man comment again if you end up getting a miata bro

@@tyrellchaisson5478 hi!!! I have actually decided recently that i'm gonna put a ton of effort and time into saving extra, and am going to instead get a stick shift Nissan 350Z!!! I like the 350z alot more, and it's faster, and i also like its sound too. I LOVE Nissan's V6 engines. Also, i'm not a fan of convertibles, and it's much easier to find a non convertible 350z than to find a non convertible miata. The average price for the miatas i want (first gen) is about 3,000-4,000. The 350z is 7,000-10,000. I feel that if i save the extra time and effort towards getting a 350z, i'd be alot happier. I'm 18 currently, and as my first car to drive (but not my car) is my stepdad's 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. I will HAPPILY drive that car, and then also save up for the Nissan 350Z as i drive the oldsmobile. Then, i will be very ready once the time comes that i have 7,000 dollars and am ready to buy a 350Z. It'll take awhile, but it damn sure will be worth it!!

@@iAnthony i've since changed my mind about a miata and about the 350z. A friend of mine is selling me his 1995 Honda Accord for 1,000. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, fresh tires, all power windows, sunroof, locks works, ac works great, new clutch as of 15000 miles ago, and about 180,000 miles. It still runs great, and fits me, because it's reliable, and seats five, and is fun to drive since it's stick shift. I no longer want a miata or 350z right now.

nascarsimracing1 dam bro changed your mind really quick lol. I was 16 when I bought my miata super fun car but I feel like you would want a 1990’s civic hatch back(if you like hatches). There like miatas you can work on them super easily and there cheap. They also fit more than 2 people witch is nice hanging out with people, don’t expect to be able to burn out with 5 people tho lol.

Depends on what you want to do with the car. Make sure it’s totally sorted first. Then, if you want to do something on the track get wheels/tires. Next would be coil overs and a front sway bar. It all depends on the route you want to take with the car

Anyone know what that scraping/grinding noise is when he lets off the gas/during deceleration? I have the same noise in my Miata and I’ve also had it on my other N/A Miata as well. People say replacing the diff fixes it, others say it could be due to the lack of dampening for the gears after upgrading the clutch. I’m not sure what it is and how serious it is. Any help would be highly appreciated, thanks in advance!

A test pipe is something you can make at home and it’s a literal pipe, the other one deletes it with a resonator with is basically a pipe with chambers to dampen the drone and make it less raspier. Resonated cat delete is the way to go and it can pass as a catalytic converted

to do a cat delete on an nc you have to swap the manifold to headers because the cat is in the manifold

Klenoce the only o2 sensor on a pre 96 car is on the header, the later year miatas have a second o2 sensor farther down the exhaust

I went from loving mine to hating it in a month. Not even the highway drone it just annoys the crap out of me everywhere, even on nice back roads going 40mph. The decel burbles are obnoxious, sounds like a semi Jake brake after awhile.
