question: why did you have to wire the NB2 connectors? the NB1 clip on the coils no problem, and according to wiring diagrams the wires are already where they should be

hey im currently doing 1.8vvt swap in my 99 nb too! it has a blown 1.6.I got a question. Im using the stock 1.8vvt ECU and the wiring harness. But the 1.6 has only 1 o2 sensor, the 1.8vvt needs two. how do I wire in the second o2 sensor, since the engine harness does not have the connection plug for it, (I think its in the body/chassis harness).

Hi I have a 99 Miata with 2003 vvt swap engine it’s no running write it have like a misfire I did use my Stack computer for 99 I did use my stock wire harness I did use my 99 intake manifold and the Vvt is not connected but it’s not running right do you have any idea how you get your running?

Nice video, full of great informations! What if I have a 1.6 nb1 mx5 and want to swap in a nb2 vct 1.8? Is there any more differences?
