@@mrfixpl Thank you. so we also need to enable the Developer mode first with OBDeleven tool to access the green menu. In the above video, you mentioned some systems get the green menu with only the software. I have exactly the same MHI2Q version. Is it because my car is a Q5 and not Q7, that is why it's not working? While using the button combination, it directly takes me to maps and nothing happens even holding for 10 seconds. The red menu works fine with combination shown.

Thank you, the green menu combination worked. According to another forum, i selected the option "patch_ifs_root_aio" from green menu to fix FEC codes map updates. I'm still not getting the maps update to work, it says "no valid update data found on the medium". I have all the activation codes legal including one of them starting with 023. could you please help me how to get the 2022/23 maps to work.

Before selecting this option you need to download patch package (around 400MB) and place it on the SD card. Only the patching can be done successfully.

Is there a way to only update the FEC codes for maps instead of running the "patch_ifs_root_aio", as I already have the wired carplay functionality. I want to keep my software updates to a minimum if possible. Also please let me know if there is a way to convert my wired carplay to wireless using a software update. There are adapters online which make this happen however prefer if there is a software fix.

Hy Mr-fix. I have a problem with the MIB2 unit of my AUDI TT 8S 2016. MIB2 drain a current of about 1.5 amps even the engine car is stopped. I hear the MIB2 fan continuosly running, also after several hours with car stopped (with windows open in order to hear the fan). The MIB2 unit works correctly (sound, radio, phone, navigation, USB, etc.) with no warning/alarm messages on the virtual cockpit. The normal operation is that some minutes from turning off engine car and the virtual cockpit and open doors, the MIB2 fan should turn off. Could the problem fixed with a M.I.B. ? How? Thanks

Hi, I have a 2015 Audi TT with the following train version: MHI2_ER_AUG24_S0530 MU Soft: 0139 I've ran the M.I.B2 SD Card update successfully, but cannot access the green menu with the key combination. Checking the logs, it would appear that i get a lot of "Memory Fault (core dumped)" messages. Googling this and looking on your wiki sugests it is an out of date firmware. I downloaded the latest firmware for the TT from your website, but when i try to install it i receive an error message saying that the train is blocked. What am i doing wrong?

And then we try to update the map and we faced with "No valid update data were found on the medium" error. When we install this tool can we activate personal options of map update? For example we have only one map licence code on the medium and we think it includes only our country. Maybe we should chose only our country's options when we try to update the map.

Hi mr-fix I have MIB2 high headunit in my B8 Passat from 2015 I managed to update my sw and navigation thanks to your videos. I even activated android auto and performance monitor with your MIB toolbox. So first of all a big fat thank you 😊 But there is one thing what I noticed recently, I dont have bass on my rear door loudspeakers only high pitch (I dont have woofer in the trunk). I had bass before. Is this something what I messed up durring updates and activations or my speakers are just broken? You write in your guide: No SD => No GEM. Meaning that a USB drive cant be used instead of a SD card?? I dont have access to a SD card reader, which is why I am asking. :-)

Not 100% sure but USB drive might work as well. You would have to confirm it yourself.
